Sebastian had been working hard ever since his near death experience. He still didn't understand why the vampire had left him alive and not just killed him but he was thankful. He hadn't had the opportunity to go out to his house yet. He had to time it right since his father died, going to see his mother wasn't something he enjoyed doing. She always tried to make him stay, trying to convince him that she needed him. She didn't and although he sounded like a horrible son he wasn't. He knew she needed to get through this on her own, she was just taking an extremely long time to do it.
Instead Seb had thrown himself in to trying to complete the potion. None of the ingredients from that night had worked which made the trip he took pointless. He had decided to find some more natural ingredients and that meant a trip to the forest. Night time was the best to go, not only would no one be there, there were some plants and things that were easier to find at night. He made his way there, not bothering with a cloak this time. Once he arrived he started wondering the woods, picking up things which he needed and also things that interested him.
He was there for a solid couple of hours before he senses another presence in the trees. He didn't know if it was just the chill finally getting to him or if there was someone watching him. Most people would react with fear but he didn't. He straightened and knew someone was behind him. There are some things a wizard just knows and that was one. He debated turning to face the person or creature and decided to go for it. He turned and couldn't believe it when he saw the same red eyes he had seen only a few weeks ago.
"Hello." He greeted, not knowing what else to say. He stayed polite however and smiled a small smile, hoping maybe this was a coincidence and he wasn't here to finally finish him off.

It was like a whole new Lucifer had emerged again after that night with the run in look alike Lummus descendant of him. Lucifer could still see the face, the identical face of him in that man he had stumbled upon in Knockturn a few weeks ago, the uncanny similarities had resurfaced old memories and distant dreams which he had locked away. The century old vampire didn't want to feel these things again though, he didn't want to be vulnerable to his memories and submissive to his feelings. He was a better man than that, he was a stronger, more efficient and deadly killer without his emotions, detaching himself from them was how he had survived in the past.
It was hard though, to forget. Now with the memory fresh in his mind there was no way he could just throw it back into the little black hole in his heart where he'd put the padlock on and seal away. That wasn't possible, hell he had tried but no matter what he did his old lover's memory just wouldn't fade. There was nothing Lucifer could do about it but hunt and distract himself, giving him something else to do other than wallow in his anger and hurt from the hundreds of years ago.
But even if he tried, Lucifer couldn't stop himself, he craved for him and he couldn't stop his legs from bringing him to the forest where the two had first met, had first kissed, had first made love on the dry leaf foliage on the ground. It was here that Lucifer sat, staring down at their place, a large tree which had been here for many years longer than the rest, being taller and wider in size. It must have been the mother tree, seeding over the years to produce the forest so Lucifer always knew which tree was their tree. This was their place, their hide away from the world which they had lived in those days, hidden from prejudice and judging eyes, happy and content.
Sitting up on a branch he just stared down at the ground below, hearing the disturbance of the trees though he turned his face to the sound, shock registering on his face as the same man from weeks ago emerged. How dare he come here, this was a sacred place?! Lucifer was beyond outraged, no human dared ever trek this far into the woods, ever. It was just unheard of even in this age, and so seeing the descendent of the very man who shared this are with the vampire there tonight was yet another untimely coincidence that had Lucifer cursing the human.
Dropping down silently he watched as the human turned towards him, and Lucifer just glowered, not approaching from his position, standing by the tree. He wouldn't let this human come any closer, this was Lucifer's place, and only he could be here. This was a memory he wished to preserve untainted for now, he didn't need this human ruining the memories Lucifer was allowing himself to indulge in for once. "You shouldn't be here," Lucifer said simple, his tone venomous as his eyes flashed in anger.

Sebastian couldn't believe his luck. he had thought he'd grown out of this 'always in the wrong place, at the wrong time' thing but it seemed he had once again done it. He was in the forest near his home, knowing that the ingredients he had wanted would be here and it seemed the vampire who had wanted him dead was back. Had this been where whatever happened with Fredrick happened? It was close enough and the man had lived in the house they still lived in. Was the vampire visiting old memories.
Seb had no idea what his great great great great grandfather had done to betray this vampire. Had they had some sort of deal, some bargain that he'd not followed? Had he led hunters to him since that was a time when vampires were hunted freely. He wanted to know what Fredrick had done but there was no way he could find out from the vampire. Even mentioning his name had brought rage to him. He stared at the red eyes that were filled with so much hate. He was so angry and it pained Seb to see someone living that way, even if it was a vampire.
"I'm sorry, I didn't know this was where you would be. I only came to get some things for a potion. If you let me go I'll be on my way." He said, not daring to mention the fact they were close to his home, the home Fredrick had lived in. He had to know that, the vampire had been around for hundreds of years.
The one thing Sebastian couldn't quite get his head around, was the fact Fredrick had betrayed the vampire but he had lived. Why hadn't the vampire just killed him? He let Seb live as well, he didn't understand why. If he hated the man then surely killing him would have been the solution. So why hadn't he? Seb felt there was an easy answer as to why but he couldn't figure it out. Why would the vampire let him live.

This tree was Lucifer's hide out, it was so deep into the forest that it was uninhabitable by even creatures, they had long since fled by now since they could tell that there was a creature in their midst. Creatures could sense danger, and that was practically the definition of Lucifer, a vampire brought nothing but silent death and beautiful chaos with them. This forest was where he had met him all those years ago, the lonely wood cutter who wore those tight leather pants and the white loose fitting shirt, the way he'd bend over to cut a block of the timber in half...
Lucifer had to shake himself from his thoughts, otherwise other more...vivid memories than tight pants would surface and then who knew what he would do? Lucifer never could control the sex drive that came with a vampire, it was a large part of him and his vampire side too, it was just how they all were. Especially the old covens that James used to be a part of, the dark perverted side to their world had greatly influenced Lucifer's own habits. Chains and whips definitely excited him.
"This is my place," Lucifer hissed out, placing a cold, large hand against the tree trunk he stood beneath, this was his place, no one could dared come here. A paradise was meant to be for solitude, not a bloody theme park ride for all. But still...seeing the Lummus descendant here brought up so many memories, and he couldn't stop his body from floating over to the human, pushing him up against a tree behind him. "...Well I guess since you're here we can...play. I didn't have my fun with you last time after all..." Lucifer said with a smirk, in his mind this human was already him, Lucifer could indulge in one more fantasy before he'd be rid of the Lummus family.
Pinning the humans' arms above his head he leaned in, exposing his fangs in a predatory smirk. "One little bite won't hurt...trust me, I'm an expert..."

Sebastian knew that he was unlikely to survive a second time. He would try all he wanted but it was unlikely. He could see the anger, the hate in the vampire's eyes. He still didn't know his name. He knew that it was all directed at him, or rather at his ancestor who had looked like him. He wondered how similar they really looked, for it to bother the vampire so much. Surely they couldn't look that alike. That was impossible wasn't it? It wasn't often that Seb thought of something that was impossible. He hated the word.
As the vampire spoke he nodded. He wasn't about to say no. Technically his family owned the land but that was just details. He was smart enough to know that he was no longer in charge here. He didn't leave the eye contact of the vampire. He didn't dare speak because he knew that anything he said would be wrong. He couldn't please the angry soul before him. Sometimes it was just better to stay silent. He wasn't necessarily scared, he just didn't want to die.
Then the vampire moved forward, coming closer. He frowned slightly, he wasn't walking forward to attack. Surely he'd just come at him. No instead he glided over. Seb moved backwards until his back hit a tree and it seemed that was exactly where the vampire wanted him. So this would be where he died. He wondered if they would ever find his body. The vampire might not leave it here since it seemed to be a special place to him. He spoke and the anger was gone. Instead a dark, humorous voice was left in it's place. The way he worded the sentence however made Seb's heart rate pick up. Not out of fear.
he vampire moved Seb's arms above his head and he squirmed slightly, once again not out of fear. He couldn't believe that in this situation he wasn't afraid that was was about to die but rather turned on by the sexy, cold man before him. He didn't let it show though, or at least tried not to. The vampire spoke again and he knew that this must be the voice he used to seduce humans. Get them to do what he wanted. It wasn't mind control, he was just very good at charming people.
"That won't work on me you know." He said boldly though once again his voice sounded nothing but polite.

Lucifer so wanted to take the man before him, lay him out on the ground beneath his shoes, rip off his clothing and scream goddamn bloody murder as he took him right there and then. Of course, the name which would leave his lips would be one he usually never said but the temptation of it all was too much, he couldn't resist giving in. What were the chances of running into someone who looked identical to your ex-lover and then, some how meet up in the same place where you and said lover used to spend each day together in sheer ecstasy? The possibility of that happening was nigh to none.
As he cornered the human up against the tree he could see that he was having an affect on the human before him. The sudden intake of breath, the squirming as he tried to get comfortable against the tree, the way he tried to turn away from him as he leaned in further as he instinctively took a deep inhale of the Lummus scent which, remarkably didn't smell much like Fredrick at all. No this human smelt like pine needles, musk and something clean and crisp which was a reminder of Fredrick though, it must just be the blood. Lucifer still remembered the scent of Fredrick, all earthy tones and natural wood and something spicy which always had him craving that delicate skin.
Lucifer was struck dumb once again as the human before him spoke, practically the same words that his lover and his ancestor had centuries ago. How was that even possible? There was a limit to how far fetched things were becoming, and Lucifer let out a jaunty laugh of bemusement. Oh this was just too good, but seeing as how the human had reacted, Lucifer knew just what to do.
"Oh really now?" Lucifer purred out, pressing himself closer to the male as his knee slid up between the smaller male's legs, nudging the crotch of his pants with a gentle rub of his leg. "Are you so sure about that...hm?" Lucifer added, his voice like soft velvet as the lure went into full over drive as he leant down and licked a line along the man's neck, up to his jaw and back down again. "Because I think it will...don't you?"

Sebastian was confused when the vampire laughed at his words. He wasn't surprised, he wasn't sure there was a reaction this vampire would do that would surprise him. Unless of course he suddenly held out his hand, introduced himself and said this was all a joke. He knew however that that wasn't going to happen. Instead it seemed the vampire had picked up on his own reaction, the fact he wasn't scared and he decided to go with it. As he spoke in his ear and moved against him Sebastian gulped and squeezed his eyes shut. He wasn't going to let him get the better of him.
Sebastian was bi, he had known he had been for years now but he had never really gone far with a man. Kissing and dancing in clubs was about the extent of it. It wasn't because he didn't want to go further. It was more the fact that woman seemed to just come to him. He wasn't sure why they were attracted to him since he really didn't think he was that good looking but he didn't complain. So being here, against a tree with a vampire who seemed to want his way with him frightened him slightly. He never imagined the first time he had sex with a man would be the last time he had sex at all.
The vampire spoke again and then his cold tongue ran up and down Seb's neck. He wanted to shiver, he could feel it building up inside him but he didn't. He controlled himself. He was quite impressed that he could. He hadn't expected to be able to control the urge since this vampire had hundreds of years of practice in seducing both men and woman. Somehow, he managed. He didn't react at all. He stood there, not shivering, not moaning, not even hitching his breath. When the vampire spoke again, he almost smirked at the fact he had fought back and won that little battle. Because he had been right, it didn't work.
"No, I don't. Could I at least know you're name before you kill me?" He asked, keeping his voice steady and polite, like always.

Lucifer truly was surprised with the turn of events, this was exactly what had happened nearly two hundred years ago all over again. Of course though the times were a little different then, and in comparison when Lucifer had first met Fredrick, the wood cutter had only been nearing his twenties and they spent many many summers together from that time forth. They parted ways when Fredrick had been about this human's age, probably why he felt all that much more hatred than he would have if the face had looked younger, back to the innocent Lummus boy who he had corrupted and tutored in the ways of sex and pleasure.
A little annoyingly though the human didn't show any reaction from his ministrations and that annoyed him. Seems he was immune to his Lure too, just like he had been too. Bloody Lummus family and their weird hereditary genes. He just let his smirk widen, well his charms weren't going to work, but he could feel that the human was struggling to not let out any reaction at all, Lucifer just had to push all the right buttons before the human would be like putty in his hands.
"Why should I indulge such information to you, doppelganger?" Lucifer said as he pulled back from licking the human's neck, satisfied with the taste which was lingering on his tongue. The human tasted sweet, that was for sure. Leaning forward he mock took a snap at the man's neck before pulling away again, staring down his nose hauntingly before he decided to just tell him, there was no harm in him saying it. Besides, if his plans would go accordingly he'd have this human screaming his name by the time the sun was going to rise.
"Lucifer...the devil himself at your service," said man said as he took a little bow, almost mockingly, all the while his crimson eyes still locked with the humans.

Seb didn't feel safe. Of course there was a pretty obvious reason for that one. But it wasn't his lingering death that was the cause. He wasn't sure why but he felt like something worse was going to happen. he was about to get raped and murdered by a vampire. The vampire spoke and as he called him doppelganger Seb narrowed his eyes slightly. This wasn't personal at all. This whole attack, this whole thing was because of his face. Something he couldn't control. He didn't know if that made him feel better or worse. He didn't say anything because really he had no good reasoning as to why he should know his name. He was stalling, putting up a tough front. He was doing anything he could for this not to happen.
Then to his surprise, the vampire actually complied. he couldn't stop himself from chuckling slightly. It was so fitting, so typical that his name would be Lucifer. It fit him perfectly. He quickly stopped his chuckles though, taking emotion off his face once more. What was he to do now? This vampire, Lucifer, planned on doing bad things with him and then killing him because his ancestor had betrayed him in some way. He looked straight into Lucifer's cold, red eyes. Trying to get anything out of them. It still saddened him to see so much anger.
"I would say it's a pleasure Lucifer..." He said but he trailed off. He couldn't say it was a pleasure since the man was about to kill him. "I do have one more question. If I'm going to die for what my ancestor did, then can I at least know what it was?" He asked slightly boldly. He thought it was rather valid. If he had to die for something he didn't commit, he deserved to know what it was.
He was starting to forget that the vampire was pressing against him, trying to turn him on. The fact his death was near was starting to sink in. His mother would surely not survive another death. His sister would be left to deal with it. He didn't know how they would cope. His potion would never be finished. He was thankful that he didn't have a lover or kids that would miss him. Maybe that was why he was still alone at 26, because he was always meant to die young.

Lucifer felt in his element, hunting was his life and, being in the forest where darkness was practically a life form he could thrive here. He felt so at home, so at peace in darkness, it was his sanctum and his savior and, unlike others of his kind Lucifer was glad he had become a creature condemned to walk to the night since he hated his old life. The manor he had grown up at had been the hell on earth for Lucifer, his family even naming him thus because of their hate and resentment for the child born of a demon. Thank god they were such God fearing people otherwise they might have killed him long ago.
Lucifer raised a thin brow at the chuckle that escaped the humans' lips. Did he find this funny? Maybe he was more cynical than he thought, if he thought dying was so much fun. Funny, this human seemed so different from the Lummus man he had once known, sure the same face and same immunity but Fredrick was not so brave as to laugh, no instead he had just smiled and leant down to pick a flower and place it in his hair. It had been the weirdest thing that had ever happened to Lucifer, but still the eerie echo of the humans' words which were almost identical to what Fredrick had said all those years ago still had his hair sticking up on end.
"One more question?" Lucifer echoed back, raising a brow as he motioned for him to continue. However at his request Lucifer just rolled his eyes as he let a smirk cross his lips. "Like I would ever indulge a petty and pitiful human such as yourself with that information." Lucifer snorted to himself, "you're pathetic you really are. Thinking you can trick a vampire? Why you do have a pair of nuts on you if you're that brave." Mocking the human was another way to release this anger he felt inside.
He wasn't going to do this playfulness anymore so instead he slipped a cold hand down the human's pants, hand gliding under his under garments to find his member, long strong fingers stroking gently.

Seb was surprised when the vampire motioned for him to speak. He was expecting him to say no. To kill him before he got the chance. He asked, with hope that maybe he'd finally learn the mystery as to why this vampire wanted him dead so badly. He still couldn't think of anything someone in his family could have done. However his hopes were slashed when Lucifer rolled his eyes and called him pitiful and pathetic. Why? What had happened involved a human so why was the information suddenly to good for another? Then he started mocking him.
He was slightly shocked since he hadn't been trying to trick him. Asking wasn't to prolong his death, it was so he could understand why it was happening. There was a difference. He had accepted that this vampire was probably going to kill him. He felt sorry for Lucifer for having so much hate. He wasn't killing him for food, he was killing him for revenge. Revenge to a wrong doing that Seb hadn't even done.
"I'm not trying to trick you I'm merely-" but he was cut off as he felt Lucifer's hand snake inside his trousers and his eyes widened slightly. His hand was so cold but so gentle. He took a deep breath and continued, ignoring him as much as he could. "I'm merely wondering why I have to die. I think it's fair that if you're going to kill me for something I didn't do, I should at least know what. Why you're so angry. It saddens me to see such anger in your eyes." His voice was more forced but he continued to speak politely. He was surprised he wasn't angry, wasn't fighting back but he had a feeling if he tried it wouldn't help.

Lucifer should just kill this man who wore Fredrick's face, descendant or not it was still unnerving for Lucifer to see that face standing before him, it was just a trigger to bring forth so many terrible, pleasurable, loving memories of a time when a vampire had learnt to love. It was a reminder that he had been abandoned for the sake of populating and carrying on the family name and farm, caring for a sick mother and protecting his family. Lucifer could never understand the love people had for their family, their parents, siblings, kids, it was all useless. Humans were by nature selfish, cruel creatures who'd like nothing better than to hurt you. He'd learnt that in his childhood, he'd seen true evil when he was but a mere babe.
Vampires were classified as creatures, evil by human and magical folk alike, but to Lucifer James had been an angel in a dark suit who had rescued him from his living hell of a household. Lucifer was only truly able to live after he had died, cursed to forever walk the earth in the night. That was a blessed curse that had been bestowed upon him and he had lived by the ideals that James had taught him which was that, vampire stick together, humans were beneath them and to always, always make sure you kill, never bite to turn unless you are truly alone. Lucifer had walked the earth with these ideals intact...until Fredrick of course.
"Hm? What was that, I can't hear you," smirks as he leaned forward, his knees nudging open the boy's head as he let his fingers slip down past the man's member to tease the puckered hole he felt with cool fingers. "That," Lucifer whispered as he let his fangs graze along the exposed skin of the human's neck, "is something I shall never divulge to anyone, even you who bares his face and name." Lucifer pulled away to look at the human, letting out a cold laugh, "stop with this insane mirroring of his words, or do you intend for me to snap your neck before I've even had my way with you, hm?"
"Now now, this time no fighting me off," Lucifer said with a click of his tongue, all the while that sweet smile showed his dark humor at this whole situation, it was like torturing Freddie all those years ago again.

Seb was in a position he really didn't want to be in. He was up against a tree with a vampire who was going to kill him touching him in places which both excited and disgusted him. He didn't want his first time with a male to be like this and that thought alone stopped what he was doing from having a big impact. It wasn't nice, it wasn't loving it was cruel and the vampire was using him for his own sick fantasy. Lucifer whispered that he wasn't going to share the information and he couldn't have guessed that would be his response. However his heart was racing as the fangs, sharp enough to rip his neck off skimmed across his skin.
He was glad when Lucifer pulled away to laugh at him. His words made Seb frown. Mirroring his words? His ancestor had said the same things? Hew as starting to be freaked out by how alike he seemed to be to his ancestor. However that wasn't the main thought in his mind. The main thought was that he suddenly thought he'd pieced it all together. The reason why Lucifer hated his face, wanted him dead, thought he was betrayed. Yet he had left him, he had gone and now he wanted to have his way with him. He wouldn't have hesitated to kill and enemies face and he was sure he wouldn't want to sleep with them.
"You loved him.." He spoke out in the dark, staring at the red eyes which held so much hate for a man who had obviously left him to be with a woman because Seb wouldn't be here otherwise.

Lucifer could feel the man reaction to his ministrations and he was pleased, seeing the obvious disgusts on this pathetic human's face brought him nothing but glee. He loved the fact that he was able to cause this human so much displeasure, it was the vampire's sadistical side leaking out again and he wasn't going to stop himself just because this human begged for his mercy. Well, not that he was actually was begging but over the hundreds of years that Lucifer walked the earth he had begun to be able to read people through their eyes, and human especially were easy targets as no matter how much they masked their anger or hurt, it would always reflect in their eyes.
It seemed the human came to some conclusion as his face went through the emotions, confusion, fright, then finally realisation. Lucifer had to wonder if the human was finally accepting his death as unavoidable. Lucifer would kill him, even if he were to wear the face of a lover he was not Fredrick, no one could ever replace Fredrick in his heart. Lummus descendant or not, this man could never take the place of Fredrick Lummus, even if they shared the same face and had the eerie way of echoing the words that had once been spoke centuries ago, it wasn't the same, it was so different and Lucifer was starting to make the differentiations he couldn't see when they had first met, and the more he looked the less like Fredrick the human became. And that was good, now Lucifer could kill him without all the guilt.
"I loved him once, before he abandoned me to go create your little whore brood with that woman," Lucifer spat out in his anger, forgetting entirely that he wasn't going to divulge any of his past to this human. But he couldn't help it, he just did it out of anger. "He left me, and my hate grew and festered and made me what I am today..." Lucifer pressed his hand around the human's neck, squeezing again, he could easily snap the human's neck now, he would die with his secret. "And now, I will drain you dry and leave your body here to be picked at by crows, no one will ever find you out here. No one dares to venture this far into the forest...I'm sure your family will miss you greatly, I'll be sure to send them my...condolences."

Sebastian couldn't believe it. He couldn't believe that he had been so blind and that his ancestor had had a fling with a vampire. Well, more than fling. A relationship. This vampire, the one going to kill him. He had loved his ancestor. It was so obvious. The initial shock, the blind hate yet the unease about killing him. The fact he wasn't to have his way with him. It all made so much sense. He was being killed because his ancestor had left the vampire and he felt betrayed. He had never thought that would be his way to go, a revenge seeking vampire who felt he'd been wronged by the man he loved.
Then Lucifer started to talk, seemingly forgetting that he had said he would never share details with him. His words only confirmed what Seb had thought. He had been wronged by his ancestor. The bitterness in his voice said it all. He looked at him in fascination. He hadn't been aware vampires could love but then he'd never really learnt much about vampires anyway. He stared at his face with sadness, not pity. No one should have to go through that. He was slightly conflicted on how to feel since he wouldn't be here if his ancestor had decided to stay with Lucifer.
Then it seemed his time was up. The hand was back to his neck and he seemed intent on just killing him now. He gave the vampire a soft smile, just accepting his fate. It was slightly easier now knowing why. He didn't agree but he knew there was nothing he could do. He felt his eyes prick with tears because really, he didn't want to die. He wanted to see his mother, his sister, one more time. But he couldn't. He was going to die. Well if this brought the vampire peace than he could come to some terms with it. Maybe it would prevent him from being so cruel. He continued to smile sadly and reached up with his hand to stroke Lucifer's cheek.
"I'm sorry you went through that. I hope this brings you peace." He said before leaning his head back and closing his eyes, still wearing the small smile as he waited for his fate.
