Lucifer was back in London after so long it was a rather comforting feeling, all the potential prey he could hunt... It made his mouth water at the thought of flowing crimson, streams of blood through veins and the feeling of animalistic hunger crept into his bones. Thinking about feeding had the dark and tall vampire itching to sink his fangs into some innocent and unsuspecting human and drinking their body dry of all delicious liquids...his mouth was watering at the thought of blood dripping down his chin as he drank his fill gustily. He definitely was going to be needing to go out soon otherwise he was going to starve, he had only a few picking from his trip back from Italy, here's hoping that when he found some people down in London that they'd be wizards. Something about a wizards blood gave him the sensation of euphoria, must be the magic.
It was nearing midnight, perfect time for pickings. All the drunkards would be about, and in magical London Lucifer had well frequented the bars in Knockturn Alley, it had been James who had taken the young vampire there to experience the dark underworld of the creatures of the night. As stupid as it sounded back then to the newborn vampire, to Lucifer now Knockturn Alley was a favourite hunting ground for him. Dressed in his usual attire of dress pants, a silk white button down shirt with cold cuff links, a deep navy blue waistcoat on which accentuated his body shape perfectly, wide shoulders and thin hips protruding from the thin material. A long black coat was pulled over his outfit, his hair brushed back behind his ears as his crimson eyes glowered with his hunger. Tonight was going to be a night for feasting.
Silently moving through the deserted street, the odd human or creature who passed were rather...lowly of his standards and Lucifer only fed from the best there was on offer. A human connoisseur of sorts. He liked to eat fine foods and he'd only drink the best red wine there was on offer. The life of luxury.
Hearing movement further down the dark and misty alley Lucifer smirked to himself, the glow in his eyes predatory as he saw a human, male from the smell of it moving through the streets ahead. He could hear the pumping of blood through their veins, the scent of the sweet juices tickling his senses. This human was a good choice, magical too so it made the feast twice as anticipated. All he had to do was move closer and make his move, no human could ever resist a vampire after all...well, there had been one exception to that, but Lucifer dared not think about them. He even felt like kicking himself for thinking about it in general.
He shook himself from his thoughts, he couldn't distract himself here and now, no, not with prey so close by. Steeling himself he smirked again, the rush of exhilaration pumped through his cold body as he moved noiselessly through the streets till he was right behind the human. Smirking again, he felt his fangs unsheathe, "what brings someone like you down to these parts so late at night? Didn't your mother ever tell you that if you walk alone at night, you might just be...eaten up?"

Seb was so close to perfectring a potion he'd been working o for years. He had originally gotten the idea after watching a muggle video game where they take potions to revive themslves during battles. There were obviously many health potions out there but none specifically like that, designed to be taken during war to make you stronger, faster and to heal you. So for years the potion had been a hobby. Now he had a reason to complete it and he'd been working on it daily. It would change the way wars worked at it would only get be used by the good side. He was so close now but he was missing something, everything he tried didn't work.
So he ventured out to Knockturn Alley. The one place a potioneer could go to get the things he wasn't allowed but needed. Being a potioneer and being afraid of Knockturn Alley would mean you would never be able to beat the rest. He was sue to the place by now. He wore a hodded cloak so no-one could see his face. Not because he had anything to hide, but because it was what most people wore down there. Trouble seemed to avoid those who did that because who was going to bother someone who could potentially be the Dark Lord or Greyback. No-one, that's who.
It was late as he stepped out of the store where he'd got the ingredients he thought could work. They were all stashed on the inside of his cloak. Only a soft thud could be heard as his feet hid the cobble stones. There were very few people out. Most were either drinking somewhere or passed out. This was probably the safest time to venture down in to such a place though most would never dare. He was still deep in Knockturn when he heard a voice behind him. He slowed to a stop, not because he was afraid, but because he though it wouldn't be wise to keep moving.
The last words spoken seemed more of a threat than a warning which meant the person speaking behind him was most likely not human. They could be a werewolf or a vampire or any other creature really who had decided he looked tasty. He turned, his hood still covering his face and took in the handsome man. His red eyes gave away what he was. A vampire. He wasn't the first vampire Seb had had to deal with, it also wasn't the first time someone had bothered him down here. He had never used magic or violence however to escape a situation and he wasn't about to start now.
"I don't think she ever warned me about getting eaten, and truthfully, it never crossed my mind. Of course I'm past the advice from my mother. I'm certain I have the ability to look after myself." He said, not as a threat but as a general statement. He knew getting angry or scared would only encourage the creature and he didn't want that. He pulled back his hood calmly to look at the vampire with a relaxed expression.

Lucifer was a creature of perfection. A man who craved only the best, who deemed himself as the perfect being; a superb hunter, a efficient killer, a suave charmer, a silent night walker. Lucifer was the epitome of his name. He was evil in a human form, add in the red eyes and fangs and you would believe that the devil was walking the earth if you were unfortunate enough to meet him on a dark night just like this. Lucifer was a hunter and a murderer, there was no other ways to describe him. He'd been taught to be like this, the quiet and submissive boy from his childhood had died centuries ago.
What a night for hunting though, it was cold enough for a breeze to be blowing, the clouds which hung low in the evening light, shadowing the moon and casting an eerie glow as it struggled to stream through the cloud cover. It was perfect for the magical creatures to come out, no moonlight meant wolves were free to go about their business without too much trouble, even though the full moon was approaching, vampires too appreciated the darkness more so than any other creature, even the hags would like the coolness which was reminiscent of the mountains where they originated from.
Lucifer had cornered his prey for the night, the human would be sufficient for a full meal, draining the body of all fluids would give Lucifer enough substance for at least a day or two unless he got the munchies again. The human was obvious used to this area, he hid himself well in his cloak, obviously a ploy to try and bring as little attention to himself as he could, but Lucifer wasn't going to let that happen, not when he was hungry. Lucifer wanted to have his usual fun though, so when the man replied the vampire merely smirked at the attitude he was receiving. How very amusing.
"Are you sure about that?" Lucifer said, his deep red eyes glowing in the little light in the alley way, "I highly doubt that your situation poses as a good one, there isn't anyone else around but you and I. People in these parts don't care too much for the suffering of others, so even if you scream I doubt anyone would aid you, although if they did it'd mean all the more fun for me so please, go ahead and try and do something to "look after yourself" as I will be more than happy to watch your pitiful attempts." Lucifer said in total amusement although the smirk on his lips still stayed put, the curl of his thin lips sinister and predatory. He was going to have fun...
Until the human pulled back the hood to his cloak and Lucifer let out a snarl, his hand jerking to the humans' throat as he pushed him back with ease to the wall, making sure he did it with enough force for it to hurt. Who was this...this living embodiment of... Lucifer dare not say the name. This was some sort of trick, some evil creature's doing, some manifestation or mirage to trick him. This was not what Lucifer had ever imaged to happen, nor would he have thought to ever see this face again...
"What kind of trickery is this? You who bares the face of a man who is long since dead," Lucifer seethed out, his face mere millimeters from the man he was now pinning to the wall, his hand which squeezed the human's neck contracting every few seconds to make a point of his anger. Lucifer's eyes were filled with anger and despise, whatever this...this human was, Lucifer hated him already, the similarities were uncanny and were almost identical to a T. Lucifer would kill this man, this creature who dared to try and bring forth forgotten and buried memories.

Seb knew he was in a dangerous position and he was starting to realise that words would not help him escape this. He would not kill the creature but he was definitely skilled enough in magic to defeat him if he tried to kill him. He had curses and defensive spells already floating around his mind, ready to use one in a matter of seconds. He listened to the vampire, guessing he must either be new and enjoying the thrill of killing people, or old and finding entertainment in playing with his food. One thing that was for certain was that he thought very highly of himself. It was obvious in the way he spoke and the way he held himself.
"I'm not going to scream. I'd prefer if you didn't make me hurt you though. I'd very much like to just walk away without having to make a scene." He said. Once again not as a thread but in a calm voice. He knew his normal authority over people wouldn't work on a vampire who could be thousands of years old for all he knew.
So as he drew back his cloak to met the eyes of the creature, the reaction he got was far from what he was expecting. He felt a hand on his neck, the force painful and would definitely leave bruises. He was about to use a spell to force the vampire off him when he spoke and his curiosity got the better of him. The vampire was angry at him because he.. recognised him? How on Earth could he recognise him? He had no twin that he knew of. Then he finished with dead? He looked like someone dead? Someone who had obviously meant something to the vampire, whether that meaning was good or bad, he couldn't tell.
"As far as I'm aware I don't know of anyone who had a similar face to mine though maybe it was a relative of mine? My name is Sebastian Lummus." He offered, still ready to stop the vampire from killing him but wanting to get to the bottom of this mystery. The feeling of his hand on his neck was starting to get incredibly uncomfortable and painful and he wriggled slightly, trying to find more comfort than what he had.

The vampire was going to have his fun with this human, someone who was obviously going to please Lucifer. He was someone who loved his sadistic fun, to keep himself entertained through the decades he had learnt how to read people, and to read how they would possibly react to a situation, and in doing so counter that reaction with a move on his own.
"You hurt me? You think you can hurt me?" Lucifer voiced his disbelief, a booming laugh escaping his lips at the sure absurdity of it. There was no possibility that a mere wizard could defeat him, Lucifer had spent centuries hunting his kind, he was more than certain that he was able to kill this man with a flick of his wrist. "I'd like to see you try," Lucifer said, leaning forward as he bared his fangs, his eyes flashing with amusement. He'd very much like to see this wizard try and hurt him, Lucifer would gladly snap his neck and drink his blood before it went cold.
Lucifer was outraged, who was this imposter who took on the face of... Lucifer dared not think that this man was him, it was a mistake, someone different, he had died years ago! To Lucifer though it seemed like only yesterday, as he had yet an eternity to forget about the past ahead of him. He wished that his heart would stop aching at the thought, of the betrayal, of the hurt and loss that Lucifer had felt for the first time in his life, and also the last, he wished it would all end. He hated emotions, he had sworn himself off them from childhood, but it had been him who had broken through those emotional walls which he had built up around his heart.
Who was this man who wore the face of the dead? He could not be real, he could not be alive...he should not be alive. "...Lummus..." Lucifer echoed out, his voice barely above a whisper...and he knew what was happening. A bark of dark laughter left his lips, throwing back his head as the sound echoed down the alley. This was just too much. What was the chances for ever running into a decendant of the Lummus family, of him. It was just too unbelievable, and on a night he was hunting too. "The Lummus family hm? A family of traitors," he said darkly, squeezing even tighter as he felt his prety struggle. "I should snap your neck right here..."

Seb looked at the vampire as he spoke. his face was too close for him not to stare at it. He watched in awe and curiosity as the vampire reacted to the name, whispering it as if remembering something from a lifetime ago. Well he probably was, he could be old enough. He must have known a descendant of Seb's, something that if he survived this, he would surely be looking up. He had never thought his family had held anything of interest to him. They lived on a farm, they'd always been magical but they'd never done anything exciting. No story he'd heard ever contained a vampire.
When he laughed Seb couldn't help but shiver. The creature was definitely dark and he enjoyed it. This could all be a game to him. It was a possibility that he could be making this up for entertainment and he'd never heard the family name before. The shock had seemed so real, the pain had looked alien on the creatures features because he was certain he hadn't felt that emotion for a long time. The laugh wasn't one of amusement though, it was one of irony and he had a feeling he had made things worse for himself by showing his face.
As the vampire spoke he frowned. Traitors? His family? He didn't even bother defending because there was obviously a story there he didn't know. As a child Seb had learnt his family tree, he hadn't gone to a muggle school so he had stayed at home until he was 11. That meant he had needed to learn to read and write himself. Easy enough but then he'd done more. Learning his family tree back for centuries. He wondered who it could have been. His old family house had boxes and boxes of old things in the attic, photos and journals. If he lived he would search it all, looking for something that could help him find answers to this situation.
"Who betrayed you? Obviously an ancestor of mine. Charles? Samuel? how old are you? Fredrick?" He asked, hoping that this wouldn't make him snap his neck. He was trying to find a soft spot, maybe a name would do the trick but of course it seemed they were enemies. The name would most likely just anger the vampire.

So many emotions were swirling about inside of him, so many feelings he had told himself that he did not have, that he couldn't feel. He was supposed to be immune to emotions and to any feelings associated with humans, anything that could make him weak. Emotions made you weak, they made you vulnerable and Lucifer refused to be that, to be weaker than he could be. He was supposed to be the greatest, vampires were above and beyond humans as they were gifted with powers they could only imagine. Vampires were supreme, there was no other word for it.
Lucifer could see that this human was afraid, obviously he was beginning to see that Lucifer meant business, he was not playing around. Okay so he was playing with him, but the result would still be the same in the end, and that was death. Lucifer had never let a prey escape him, minus one person and even then in the end Lucifer had left him. He wished he could go back and kill him, maybe give himself some piece of mind. His heart and soul were haunted, he couldn't ever forget and he could never, ever forgive.
As the human spoke Lucifer growled out darkly at the mention of [i[him[/i]. How dare he say his name in front of him! Lucifer had killed those with his name before, snapped the neck of those who dared speak that name in his presence. "Keep your mouth shut before I break that pretty little neck of yours," Lucifer hissed out, his eyes narrowing into a deadly glare. He wished so badly to just squeeze the life out of the human before him, to get some peace of mind. He couldn't kill him but he could kill his descendant. Maybe it would help Lucifer to finally rid himself of these feelings and memories... "You should watch what you say human, I will kill you if you don't think before you speak. Learn from that, and learn to respect your elders."

Seb didn't flinch when the vampire reacted to the name Fredrick. He raised an eyebrow. He had never found anything of interest about Fredrick though he had been only around 9 at the time and had never been allowed to look around the attic at all the old things stored up there. There must be something that showed what had happened and he was certain he would find it. He spoke and Seb changed his expression back to neutral. He knew that one wrong move and he'd be dead. Hell he was probably going to die anyway but he really didn't want to.
He spoke and Seb had to wonder why he hadn't just killed him already. Wasn't he planning to kill him? Then why was he telling him to watch his mouth? Why didn't he just do it? Something was stopping him. Seb had never seen a picture of Fredrick, he just knew the name. Did they really look that alike that it was stopping this hungry, murdering beast from killing him? But weren't they sworn enemies? Wouldn't he take pleasure in killing the face of his enemy?
"I'm sorry for whatever my great, great, great, great grandfather did." He said, not knowing what else he could do. He had obviously hurt the creature somehow. Done something wrong. "I hope whatever he did doesn't still bother you." He meant it as well. He honestly hoped that the vampire wasn't tormented by something his ancestor did hundreds of years ago. "Can you at least make my death painless please." He asked, accepting the fact that now he was going to die. He had been so close to finishing that potion. At least he wasn't leaving any loved ones behind.

That name...why did this human have to say his name. He didn't want to remember, he didn't want to be reminded of all the dark nights laid out under the moonlight, the soft whispers of his name, the warm hands in his, the passionate love they had made in the darkness of the forest... All of it was just a burden, another wound to his cold and broken heart which he had glued back together with his cold attitude and indifference, but he was afraid that being around this human would shatter his barriers which he'd built up to keep the memories of him out, the resemblance was just too much to ignore. "You have no idea," Lucifer growled out as the descendant of the Lummus name apologised for the wrong doings of his ancestor. Like this human would have any idea, not like he would have ever told anyone what had happened, their relationship had been a secret, a sin. It was a time when creatures were hunted, and two men being together was something shamed upon, people were killed for it in those days. Those were the good ol' days. Lucifer wished that he could have been condemned to death by the church, it would have been rightful retribution for what he had done to Lucifer, all the pain, the betrayal, the abandonment for a mere pennance for his mother. Lucifer could never understand the concept of family, it was foreign and he had never known what it meant to have a family. His own family had treated him as a slave, kept him locked away with animals and whipped daily, his name was said in spite and hate, he had never been shown love by family, and he could never understand how he could just give up what they had for his mother of all people. It just didn't make any sense, and the anger Lucifer had hurt was outweighed by the sheer feeling of lonliness. It was the first time Lucifer had actually hated his solitude. Even when he had been with James he had appreciated time away from his father to keep himself from going crazy around people, he had always hated contact with people until he had met the Lummus ancestor all those years ago. As the human asked for his death to be painless it made Lucifer want to torture and kill him in the more horrific ways, to prolong the death and suffering of the man who bore the face of his most hated and loved memory. Lucifer so wanted to just slaughter this human before him brutally and without guilt, to kill him as he would so many others. Squeezing his hand around the boy's neck, he roughly brought his knee into his prey's stomach, knowing with the force it'd be enough to have him choking for air. As he did this he squeezed tighter, and tighter, knowing that in a few mere seconds the body would be unconsious then, he'd only have to keep his hands around the human's neck then he'd be dead. Yet, as the body slumped in his hands he couldn't do it, he couldn't bring his hands to squeeze tighter, to kill the body that was before him. So, instead he just cast the unconscious human aside as he spat onto the ground into his anger. The vampire couldn't believe himself, how could he let that face come and haunt him again...He was so pathetic, so weak. Lucifer hated himself, and the Lummus family. Growling, he realised that he would still have to hunt, he was hungry and angry and what better than to take it out on some unsuspecting human. He decided to leave Knockturn Alley though, he didn't want to be in the damn place anymore, not with that body still laying there. So he turned on his heel and stalked from the alley, his coat trailing behind him. FINISHED
