So much had happened in the past few months that it had Byron’s head spinning. Or was his head finally just deciding to spin at the same rate as the earth while his body stayed in place? Either way, he needed a break. Byron needed a breath. He needed to go shopping. He couldn’t very well ask Jay, from the sounds of his brother, he was very much a man(and men weren’t very good shopping partners he had learned.) He had a mind to ask Jay’s girlfriend, whom he assumed would one day become his sister-in-law. She was a keeper, By had been sure of that the moment he met the girl. And now he had a nephew, a cute one at that. Although, every time Jay said his son’s name, it gave Byron a pang of guilt. Nathaniel. He should have been Byron’s father, but he had wrecked their marriage by being born. Or at least, that was how the young boy had come to feel.
Finally, Byron decided on taking his leading lady out shopping. He had caught her eye in the halls and invited her, although that Layne kid that she always hung out with seemed to have a jealous look in his eye. He was so possessive over Lucien, it was ridiculous. It wasn’t Byron’s fault that she had claimed him as her gay best friend, it was just how Fate had delt his cards.
Once he was dressed and ready to go, he made his way to Muggle London, for he was home for the weekend. The brunette fixed his hair in the glass of a small café before he made his way inside. He ordered a coffee as well as a coffee cake and he may or may not have been flirting with the cute boy behind the counter. He was a dim-wit though, it was obvious he didn’t understand Byron’s charm. Once his coffee was placed in his hand and Byron had fixed it up with cream and sugar, he chose a table to sit at as he waited for the blonde beauty to enter. He had heard she got herself an older man and By was dying to catch up on the gossip that had fallen around Hogwarts. God knows the two had a lot to catch up on.
