Haley ordered a water, accepting to herself the lack of control she had with alcohol. The brunette talked about meeting with her brother for sometime, but it didn't seem to work out. She wished she had a different excuse when she canceled with him, other than work. Haley loved her job, she loved helping people, and being able to hands on in what she could do. Licking her lips, she tapped her fingers on the wood of the bar. Looking around the bar, wondered briefly what was keeping her brother.
Haley smiled and shook her head, she had also wanted a small piece of her older brothers attention as a kid. The age difference between the two made it so Haley saw little of her brother as children. Now though, the age gap didn't seem so large to her anymore. How time flys. Looking down to the water, she thought maybe she could pass for just one drink. Just one wouldn't hurt, right? She'd have a small one before her brother showed.
Her brother should be more than aware of how easily Haley gets pulled in after one drink. Now, Haley didn't get wasted after one drink, she just could stop drinking after one drink. Maybe it was immature of her to think so, but Andrew wasn't there yet, so she figured it to be okay. She leaned over to the bartender, "Can I have a Sangria please?"

Andrew couldn't believe what his day had held. He sat in his office, surrounded by the same books, the same furniture and the same posters on the walls but somehow, it was all different. His whole life had changed and he wasn't sure what to do about it. He wasn't reading, he was merely sitting in his office staring at the seat which was now empty. He thought back to the girl who had occupied it, her face and the information she had brought. Her file still sat on his desk though he didn't dare touch it. Not yet.
His whole world had changed in one afternoon and he was so lost in what to do. He knew he had to go meet his sister. It had been a while since they'd properly seen each other. They both worked in St Mungos and often walked past one another but both were too busy to stop and chat. Andrew loved his sister, he always had. She had been the apple to his eye and he loved her from the day she was born. He had always been so protective but over the years as he grew up, it had lost it's edge. He cared for her but his bitterness had even taken a toll on their relationship.
He stood, putting on his coat as he looked at the folder on his desk before picking it up and folding it before putting it in his pocket. he walked out of his office, locking it magically so no-one but him could get in. He walked down the hospital and as he made his way through the foyer his eyes fell on the healer who he now despised with all his soul. He stopped and glared at her in anger though she never even looked his way. He had to wonder how she had managed to work with him all these years as if she hadn't stolen his daughter.
He left, not doing anything, not now. He would get his revenge though. He would make sure she never worked in a hospital again. In fact he could make her spend the rest of her life in the mental ward because it was where she belonged if she thought it was alright to steal a baby from a woman he learned to be dead because of the depression of losing her child. He hated her with more hate than he had ever had for something before in his life.
He apparated as soon as he was out the hospital and soon a brick building in a dark alley was in front of him. The Leaky Cauldron, a place he had spent many nights. He walked in ad noticed his sister at the bar. He walked over and raised an eyebrow as she asked for a drink. "Don't worry about that drink." He told the bartender who just shrugged and walked off to the next customer. "I'm not dealing with your drunk ass tonight." He said though he was grinning.
"Haley, how have you been?" He asked. He had to tell her about what he found out.

Haley turned to her brother with an amused smile, until she realized that the bartender walked away. She turned back to Andrew, and smacked his arm playfully lightly, "Hey! I was only going to have one..." Haley was sure Andrew knew that there was never just one. She smiled back at him. It really had been awhile before that they had talked. "How have you been? Please tell me something.. like a girlfriend is on your plate somewhere." Haley teased. Thinking to herself, that she needed a boyfriend herself. But honestly, she didn't have the time. She couldn't have a boyfriend right now, she was always working. And Haley loved it, really she did. Sometimes it was just lonely, but the girl wasn't going to complain. In her eyes, she didn't see that she had any room too.
Frowning for only a second, how had she been? She hated that she had nothing to tell. Yeah I'm working all the time? I saw friend at the park the other day? Haley wished that she could say something to her big brother. The male she looked up to all through her childhood and some adulthood. "I've been great! I ran into a friend a little bit ago, it was fun. Work has been great too, it amazes me the things that we can do if we really put our minds to it. My patients..they are so amazing at the things they can over come sometimes."
