Standing behind the wooden bar top Kendall wiped down the top of the table of any rim circles left by glasses. Even though this place was filled mostly with the riff raff of the magical society Kendall still had to keep the place looking as clean as it could, it was dark in the place though, the light above were damp in favour of the more night dwelling customers and all the rooms upstairs were simple in style with a large canopy bed in each with black thick curtains covering the windows to stop not only sunlight but anyone from spying in.
Owning a bar which was known by society as a place for the Dark beings to stay in had the Ministry always keeping tabs on the place in case some known death eater came in to eat or to stay and while it was only understandable, on the inside Kendall -or Dallas in this case- could only cuss and grumble about the constant binding which were placed on his store. He wished he could live out in the country side with fresh air, read books all day long before going down the the rive to catch fish, he wanted to live a carefree life like that but alas, that dream was never going to come true. Having taken on the part of Kendall, sworn under an unbreakable vow Dallas was sentenced to a life of lying to everyone and lying to himself.
Cleaning a glass on the towel he had thrown over his shoulder Kendall's gaze was drawn to a person at the bar who was calling him over, probably for a drink. "What can I get you?" Kendall asked, continuing with his cleaning of the glass.

Genevieve had a long day at work, she had just took on two new Quidditch players, both of whom tried to hit on her. Normally, like not in a work setting, she would have flirted back, however they were being obnoxious about it and not to mention down right rude. So because she was a 'super hot sexy bitch' according to one while the other one snickered behind him, she made them run five laps, and do pull ups until she said stop. It may have been long but watching the boys struggle to pull themselves up after the fortieth one was hilarious.
Walking home from the gym, like she did every night she walked passed Knockturn Alley. She froze as she thought she saw someone standing in the corner watching her. Turning her head slightly she studied the alley with a raised eyebrow.
Drawing her wand out Gen walked briskly into the Alley with a glare upon her face. True a women of her age shouldn't be going into the Alley, but then again a women her age couldn't run or fight like she could. She was confident in her defensive magic to step foot in the Alley.
When she walked to where she thought she saw someone she saw nothing but a lamp post with a broken bulb. Sighing she turned around and saw a bar across the street. Now that was what she needed.
Looking both ways before crossing Gen walked into the Gypsies Tavern and sat at the bar and scanned the list.
'Hello,' She said with a smile. 'Fire whiskey please,'

Kendall nodded with his usual work man smile, one he used for being a bartender only, it was one which held no emotion but was still polite and it showed that he was being courteous. He wished he could smile more, laugh out loud but he wasn't allowed to, well it was more like he couldn't. Moving to the back of the bar he grabbed out a crystal shot glass and one of the bottles of firewhiskey, unscrewing the lid as he placed down the glass before the young woman and poured her a shot of the amber liquid.
"Anything else I can get for you?" Kendall asked, his smile back on his face as he stepped back from the counter, giving the customer some room. He knew that a woman like that shouldn't really be in a place like this, not since she was the only one of the opposite sex here minus the hag over in the corner. "Would you like me to leave the bottle as well?" he asked as he held up the est of the bottle. He had to hope that there would be no trouble with the young woman being in his bar, despite his hoping though he knew something were bound to happen, whether it be a vampire for blood, the hag for the youth or just a creature looking for a good time.
He just gave her a smile before he moved back down the bar top to serve another customer, giving them a top up of their drink always keeping an eye on the girl to make sure she was okay, he didn't want her to get killed in his place of work, he'd not allow or tolerate something like that.
