Paxton sat on the ledge of the balcony, feeling the breeze on his face. The young ghost loved the feel of the wind, it was so freeing, he had never felt such a release until he had died. The feel of the sun or a breeze on his skin, he had never felt it when he was alive, being locked away inside a house, the sunlight he saw was always through a glass pane.
Hogwarts was a place Paxton was sure he could explore forever, he loved this place. The wet stone walls gave off the smell of moss and the chatter of people always reminded him that this was a place of happiness and laughter, students all about always having fun. Paxton enjoyed hearing things, listening to others. He experienced everything through his hearing and speaking since there wasn't much else he could do since he was dead, but he enjoyed it never the less.
Hearing footsteps he didn't turn to face them, he didn't want to scare them. They'd probably just ignore him anyway, there seemed to be a lot of ghosts roaming about the school.

Molly didn't know where her brother was, or anyone she knew. She was walking around trying not to look people in the eye yet trying to desperately find someone she knew. She didn't know why but she had a horrible feeling in her gut. She wasn't sick, it was more that something bad was happening and she didn't know what. She was scared it might be Dean and therefore she wanted to find him. If not at least distract herself because it was constantly tugging on her mind. She was wondering aimlessly until she looked up and saw a ghost.
She hadn't spoken to a ghost the entire time she'd been here. She was so scared to talk to someone who was dead. However she picked up her courage now, the little she had while alone without her brother. She needed a distraction and since she couldn't find anyone she knew why not talk to a ghost. They couldn't hurt her, could they? She quickly pushed that thought from her mind and walked over. She never started conversations with people, she didn't do that. This was hard for her.
She stood next to him, leaning on the ledge of the balcony. She was looking forward rather than at him and gulped slightly. She was so nervous. What if she offended him? She bet he was a really nice person and she might hurt his feelings.
"Um hi." She said quietly.

Paxton was surprised at the sound of a meek voice from beside him, her tiny voice portrayed her nervousness as Pax could easily hear the little quiver in it, shaking her words. He wondered how young she must be, hearing her high voice had him assuming she was quite young, probably preteens or just early teens. She had to be brave to come up and talk to him, it was bad enough that older people were afraid of him let alone having a young girl come up to speak with him.
"Hello," Paxton said softly in reply, keeping his face outwards to the breeze instead of looking down, he didn't want to startle her. He liked Hogwarts and he would hate to be known as the 'scary' ghost, he just wanted to explore and to talk to new people, to live for once.
Paxton smiled to himself as he heard the distant sound of the leaves blowing in the wind and the chirp of birds flying ahead and the odd sound of the waves crashing on rocks bubbling from beneath his feet. In his mind he painted out the image from the sounds he could hear, trees below with a breeze rustling the branches, birds flying high overhead under the sunlight, wings beating quickly to keep up with the updraft of the wind, the lake beneath rippling out to form the off wave against the banks, the gurgling of the water like laughter.
It truly must be a beautiful place.
