Smirking James walked through Hogsmeade waiting on Byron to show up, they agreed to meet in Hogsmeade it really was fun to shop with the younger Hufflepuff. He would have liked to come down here with someone he could have fun with, but he let the thought go. Walking into Honey Dukes, as the orgianal place of meeting, letting his eyes wonder in all the people in the store. James smirked, wondering to himself why he agreed to come to Honey Dukes. Oh yeah.. He had a major sweet tooth. A major secret sweet tooth.
Bloody hell where was Byron? Bryon had orgianlly caught his eye originally caught his eye at a quiddich game, he had seen the Hufflepuff around school but his personality didn't really say sports. Finding out quiddich was the only sport he really did watch or had intrest in, James laughed and let it. He didn't judge, he'd be a hypocrite if did anyway. Sighing, he let a breath as his thoughts drifted to a few days ago when James and Sky were out on the field. Snorting to himself, James shook his head. He thought about owling Rose telling her she was right about waiting..but he knew she had a lot on her plate with all the wedding. Bloody hell, James nearly forgot about her wedding. He needed to get formal robes soon, as it was coming up fast. Could he get formal robes in Hogsmeade? Fuck.

If anyone had asked Byron if he had an older brother, he would have snorted and said there wasn't such a person in his life. If someone had told Byron he was the offspring of a married woman and a man she had an affair with before leaving her husband for the other man, Byron would have prominently slapped you for speaking that way about his mother and strutted off to another area.
Of course, both of those suggestions had come up just the other weekend. He had an older brother, Jay Harrison. He was eighteen and about to become a father with his seventeen-year-old girlfriend. That meant that A) Byron was about to be an uncle and B) Byron had a bloody brother.
He sighed and brushed his bangs off to the side. He really wanted to get to know his half-brother but he wasn't sure if Jay was going to let him into his life. After all, their mother had chosen Byron over him.
He pushed the negative thoughts to the back of his mind as he traveled to Honeydukes. The candy shop was a beautiful temple and the candy was the treasure which Byron would happily spend his precious "gold" on. James was supposed to meet him at the amusing place, for Byron knew that sweet tooth of his would be the death of him someday.
The Hufflepuff entered the shop and looked around for the familiar Gryffindor. Once he caught sight of the jet black hair, he pranced over and covered the older boy's eyes. "Guess who? And if you get this wrong I'm not buying you anything at all." He said, waiting for James' answer.

Debating on his answer, James smirked, "Boy barbie?" He pulled Bryon's hands away and looked at him. "I was half right so I deserve some credit." Taking a step back from the boy, he looked up at him, with the sad emo boy look that James pulled off quite well. "Will you still buy me candy?" James had money and he was sure as hell gonna buy some, but since Bryon knew about his sweet tooth, his very serect sweet tooth that no one was to know about...He just grinned and bared it. James didn't expect the younger boy to buy him anything, as James was joking.
Grabbing a sugar quill, he looked at the rest fo the store. This was James' favorite store here in Hogsmeade. He thought about asking Sky to come with them, but the awakwardness that it would have been wasn't realy worth it. He wondered if Sky had told anyone about James asking him out. Looking at Bryon he breifly debated on telling him, but he decieded against it. It wasn't everyone's problem that he got turned down. Ugh, yeah not saying shit. "So what took you sooooooo long?" James truthfully wasn't in Hogsmeade more than 20 mintues, and was only teasing his friend.
"This candy was like screaming my name and ...Just what kind of person would I be if I just ignored them?" James did have thing for getting carried away, but he also normally got the person he was with to laugh too. The older Gryffindor grinned at his story about resucing his percious sweets.

Byron rolled his eyes at James' answer. Just because he kept up on his look and had a terribly long moisturizing routine didn't mean he was the human equilivent to Ken. Besides, Ken got into bed with women and Byron played for the other team. As it was quite obvious. "Please. Does my hair look plastic and my abs etched in?" At James' question, the brunette simply put up his hand. "I'll think about it."
Byron began to peruse through the candy shop, examining anything that caught his fancy. He picked up a package of Exploding Bon Bons before he decided that it might not be such a good idea to blow his mouth up today. He settled on a liquor ice wand and some Caramel Webs before he bought anything else. At James' whine, Byron simply smiled, "Sorry, cutie. I was reflecting on the crazy ass weekend I've had. You would not be-lieve what went on this weekend in this game I call My Life." He sighed and smacked his head to his forehead, shaking his head.
The Hufflepuff chuckled at the older boy's corny story. "Right. And I'm next in like for the British Throne. Nice try, James, you can't save all the Sugar Quills calling your name." The brunette quickly scooped up a box of Bertie Botts. It seemed he was the only one who got a kick over what flavor of jelly bean he would be receiving. "What's up with you, James? Anything going on lately? Drama? Success? Brothers popping out of completely no where?"

"Uhm... No?" James said with a grin to the younger boy's question on if he looked plastic. "I'm sure your abs are one-hundred percent real." James teased. Grabbing a few chocolate frogs, he opened it and bit off the back legs so the frog wouldn't hop away, he looked at thecard and grinned. He had never really saw the point of collecting the cards since the spell wore off eventually anyway.
James rasied an eyebrow before letting out a chuckle, "No brothers popping up, but I got Marie...You can have her." Marie was James's younger sister, and even though he looked out for her as much as an older brother could, she was still his younger annoying thirteen year old sister. James smirked and titled his head, "What happened in Bryon Myer's crazy life over the weekend?"
Wanting to think about someone else's problems for the time being sounded great, James's issues weren't big or dramatic but more personal. Every time he looked at a guy in school or even walking around in Hogsmeade, his thoughts came right back to Sky. James wanted to gag, he has never thought of anyone- any guy for more than a day or two at most. The Gryffindor couldn't get the adorable blush that Sky got so easily, out of his head. "Fuck.." James groaned under his breath without thinking, before looking back at his friend.
