As the days had flown by, the Slytherin found her holidays dwindling in days until it had come to finally being sent back to school for another year. She had to keep herself together though, it had been a rough holidays for the young girl and it had taken it's toll on her mentally and physically. Not only had she kicked the habit, but it had physcially exhausted her to the point where she spent most of her waking moments throwing up and fighting off a fever. She had battled through it though, for Jackson. The boy she had fallen for, fought for, changed for...
Jackson had stolen her heart, the older but sweet boy who had saved her on numerous occasions. Then, it had come to the point where she had found him drunk, that had scared her beyond belief. She had begun to loose herself again, sinking deeper in. No one cared for her, no one wanted her, she was just a used product. Jackson too thought nothing of her, being drunk may have deluded his mind but Lucien couldn't shake off that feeling of filth that had crept along her skin as Jackson had forcefully kissed her.
She shivered again at the thought, bringing her knees up to her chest as thin arms rapped around her knees. Seated on the Hogwarts Express as it chugged along, farmland flashing past the window she sat beside. The compartment was empty but she knew it wouldn't stay that way for long, there was always people looking for an empty seat on the crowded train.
Dulled eyes stared out through the glass, her tiny body being hidden by her oversized clothing. She had lost weight over the holidays, probably too much. She hadn't eaten at all, her stomach couldn't take it so she had just learnt to not eat. It wasn't like anyone had noticed. She had avoided Jackson after that incident and it wasn't like she had any friends bothered to see her. She had tried Layne but he seemed to have been busy since he hadn't replied to a single letter. Her mother didn't care either, too busy with her work at the Ministry to notice her only daughter, wasn't even like they talked anymore. The relationship between mother and daughter had all but disintegrated over the years, the two almost like complete strangers these days.
The sickly thin girl could only sigh out softly between painted lips, her eyes trained on the scenery which moved past too fast for her to see. Hearing the compartment door open Lucien ignored whoever stepped in, not in the mood for human companionship right now.
