Skylar was feeling the midnight munchies like crazy and it was keeping him awake in his bed. He could hear his other dorm mates snoozing around him and he rolled over, trying his best to fall asleep, clenching his eyes closed. It wasn't working very well as he ended up just tossing and turning in his sheets and getting himself tangled up in it. Finally giving up with his futile attempt to rest he just threw off the covers and tried to hope out of bed but ended up falling out head first onto the floor as his leg was caught up in his sheets. Sitting up from the floor he rubbed his nose, checking that it wasn't broken and that there wasn't any blood but he was sure he probably looked like rudolph the freaking red nosed reindeer since his nose was killing him.
Standing he grabbed a shirt from his trunk and slipped it over his bare torso, not even caring that he was bare foot as he was wearing Noah's trackpants for the night. The other Hufflepuff boy was taller than him so his pants hung off his hips loosely and the bottoms of the legs dragged along the floor, effectively hiding his feet except for his toes. Making his way out of the dorm room, Sky was glad that there wasn't anyone in the common room to tell him off as he snuck out.
His destination was the kitchen, wanting to sate his hunger so he might actually get a good night sleep for once. As he walked along the corridors of the castle he hummed to himself, already knowing the way there without the need for a wand as, after seven years living there he'd learnt most places off by heart.
Too bad though that had been a bad idea as he felt himself hit something solid, knocking him over. "Ow...what the hell..." Sky muttered to himself, wondering what he had just walked into.

Chase hadn't seen Sky since their fall out. That meant he hadn't seen Sky since he got drunk and hooked up with Imogen. Again. He felt like he was drifting away from Sky. It didn't matter that during their small fall out they had made up and said cute things. They barely talked. Sky knew nothing about Imogen. He was his best friend and he knew nothing about the first girl Chase had ever liked. That was how they were drifting apart. He hated it and spent quite a lot of the time thinking about the. The rest of the time he was thinking about Imogen of course.
Tonight was a Sky night. He couldn't get to sleep because of the horrible feeling in his stomach that he was losing his best friend. After hours of trying to sleep he gave up. He decided he would head to one of the towers, look at the stars and maybe the air would clear his head. He put on a button-up, knitted cardigan and some sweat pants before walking out. He didn't bother with shoes. He left the corridor and was walking out of the dungeons when out of the dark someone bumped in to him.
He cursed and stumbled back, lifting his wand and muttering 'lumos' only to see Sky on the floor. He frowned, how was it that he could spend the whole night thinking about his best friend and when he finally decided to leave his bed and try rid himself of those thoughts, the devil himself turned up.
"Good going Sky." He muttered, not sure whether he was happy or annoyed at this meeting. He still felt the horrible feeling gnawing at his insides.

Skylar had no idea what he had just bumped into, resulting on him landing hard on his arse. He was sure there had never been something standing in the middle of the hallway unless they decided they needed a new suit of armour in there. He wasn't sure what had happened though, but he shielded his eyes as bright light suddenly burst up before him eyes. "Ah-what the-bloody hell mate," Skylar replied, peeking through his fingers to see his best friend Chase standing there, looking at him with an expression that the Hufflepuff couldn't put hi finger on.
It had been so long since he had seen Chase, a boy whom he had since first year barely spent a day away from without speaking. Sky had been of late wrapped up with whatever was happening with Noah, the two badgers now as close as ever. He felt a little guilty that he hadn't been speaking to Chase these days, not since they had fought last time anyway. Skylar had been hurt by his friends words but had felt like a prick himself when he had lashed out at the Slytherin. It had been their first fight and Skylar had regretted every word he had said.
"Hey Chase...'sup?" Skylar said, standing again as he tugged at the sleeves of his shirt. He smiled at his friend, hoping that they were still cool.

Chase didn't offer a hand to his 'best friend'. Instead he debated just leaving. He knew it would hurt Sky. He might follow him or just cry over the fact Chase was obviously not happy. He would probably link it back to their last meeting, blame himself for something he had said. Chase didn't know whether or not he blamed Sky for what was happening. He wasn't sure whether he blamed anyone or if it just hurt him. He knew however that he knew it was probably his own fault. He had never deserved a friend like Sky. It only took Sky 7 years to realise that.
"Not much." He muttered as his friend spoke.
He hated this. He hated the feeling, the tension and the uncertainty. He hated the fact that last year, the tow had been perfect. Best friend. They did everything together. Everyone knew the two and knew they went together like wands and wizards. Now they didn't speak. The worst part was that unlike Chase, Sky would be making friends with other people. He had other friends. He wouldn't just be sitting alone. He had probably replaced Chase already. He had never needed him, it had always been the other way around. Chase doubted Imogen would be able to help him with this situation.
"What are you doing down here?" He asked.

Skylar could see that Chase wasn't being normal, it was easy to see in the dim light coming from the Slytherin's wand that his expression was tense and his shoulders were ridged. He was uncomfortable. Skylar didn't let the hurt he felt show on his face though, acting oblivious as he always did. He played the part well and people believed him, even Chase did sometimes, Sky just hoped it was one of those times.
"That's good," Skylar replied with a grin, shoving his hands into the pocket's of the track pants. He was glad he had stolen them from his fellow dorm mate, they were incredibly warm on his lean frame and it gave him that extra bit of comfort as he stood in the corridor opposite his best friend.
Skylar looked over his shoulder to make sure that no one was coming, besides if they were to be caught they had the easy excuse of saying that Chase had already taken points and had scolded Sky for being out of bed at such late hours. Turning back to his friend Sky gave him another smile, hoping that with each one he formed Chase wouldn't be so distant from him. "I was on my way to the kitchen, was hungry. You'll tag long right? The more the merrier when splurging," Sky added with a soft laugh but before Chase could even protest or recline his invitation he had thrown an arm around Chase's shoulders and began to continue his journey, humming as he went.
Arriving at the right painting Sky tickled the pear in the fruit bowl and stepped inside the door which had swung open for them to enter. Taking a seat he was glad to see that there was food out, taking one of the left over cakes from dinner that night as he grabbed two forks, passing one to Chase. "Dig in mate."
It was truly heaven. Skylar had taken a mouthful and had to clutch at his cheeks at the flavour, twice as delicious now he was practically craving. He wanted to sate his hunger, and now that he was it was pure bliss in his mouth, an orgasm of flavours.
