Finn smiled to himself as he waited for Sydney in the Entrance Hall from where they would set out for Hogsmeade together. As this was the first Hogsmeade weekend since that one night that had started out with Sydney and Freya going skinny dipping in the Black Lake, they had agreed to have an official date now. Later they would meet up with their respective families and if there was time left Finn should fetch Sydney from the three broomsticks and get to know her father. That was what Finn was nervous about. He knew how protective Sydney's father was, but then his nature only allowed him to hope for the best.
So there he stood, waiting almost giddily for her arrival so they could leave and spend a wonderful time together. His smile broadened when he spotted her among the sea of students which moved down the main staircase and flooded the entrance hall. He made his way towards her and pulled her up in his arms and kissed her in greeting. "Hey, beautiful. You excited?"

Excited could not begin to describe what Sydney was feeling. She was practically high on Finn. Ever since the night they had gotten together, that wonderful, glorious night, she had been in the clouds. She was so in love and she didn't care who knew it. They had become one of those couples that everyone hated. They made out in the corridors, they sat at each other's house tables for meals, they wrote love notes in class. It was as if the world had disappeared and all she could see was Finn. But in reality, Freya wouldn't let that happen. She kept Sydney grounded by making fun of her when she was too lovey-dovey with Finn. But though it helped some, it wouldn't change the fact that Sydney wanted to be all over Finn as much as was humanly possible. All day, every day if she could. Except when they met Finn's father and her own dad. Then they had to behave. She made her way to the entrance hall as soon as she could. And when she saw him, she beamed right back at him, unable to control the smile on her face. She jumped into his arms, wrapping her legs around his waist and she kissed him thoroughly, so he would not be wondering how happy she was to see him. When she pulled away from the kiss he asked if she was excited. She smiled and climbed down from his body, slipping her hands into his. "Mmmm, I'm excited to be here with you, yes. And a date will be lovely. But I really could care less where we go as long as I'm with you. Oh, and I really want to meet your dad. Does he have your good looks and dashing personality I wonder?" She said with a smile and she gave him a wink. Sydney

Finn staggered backwards a bit as Sydney jumped at him, but he wouldn’t complain of course as she gave him a proper greeting. He could do this all day long with her, holding her, kissing her – alright it happened that they did do this all day long, but it seemed he couldn’t get enough of her, no matter what his mates or his sister said and how they tried to tease him to death or something. Unwillingly he let Sydney go as she stood on her own feet again and took her hand. Finn chuckled in appreciation of her joke about his father but shook his head. “From all I know you met my brother Dylan. I think he’s much more like dad than I am.” He wrinkled his nose in thought. “Do you think I’ll make it back to the castle alive after the meeting with your dad?” he asked, only half joking. Everything will be fine, he told himself then. He’d enjoy his time with Sydney first. Kissing her head once he led her out of the castle and towards the village of Hogsmeade. “Where do you want to go first? Do you need anything?”

"Mmm," she sighed happily with a slight grab of his ass. "I need you, does that count?"
She would have to behave for the whole rest of the day with their families watching at Hogsmeade, she couldn't be expected not to take advantage of him now without her dad or his watching them. She was happy to be introducing him to her father, but she wasn't sure she could hold back in her lust for him. They were like a newlywed couple, only they couldn't get in as much sex because they didn't technically live together. She intended to fix that upon graduation. She took Finn's hand and began walking with him.
"Well I want you, not your dad or your brother. You are my perfect match, no one else. And no, Daddy won't kill you. He might be a little grumpy, but he'll mostly be happy that I'm happy. If he questions you too roughly I'll keep him in line, don't you worry."
She weaved her fingers through his as they walked off of Hogwarts grounds toward Hogsmeade. She swung their hands back and forth, because that's what adorable love birds did when they walked together, and she turned to him as they walked.
"I don't have any preferences. But I do love a good box of chocolates. Maybe Honeydukes first?"

He chuckled when she made a slight grab at his ass. "Stop that or I know we won't be getting anywhere," he warned her only half joking before he returned the favour and in turn slid his hand over her rear less roughly. He knew they'd just stop along the way for a make out session or other and end up staying in the castle. But that wouldn't do today. They were meeting their families, that had higher priority now in Finn's eyes. "And just so you know, the Room of Requirement is occupied. I know that for a fact," he put in as an afterthought.
"You say that now," Finn teased Sydney about her comment that she didn't want his dad or his brother. "And once your father killed me you'll go to one of them for comfort, I just know it." Yes, by now he'd restored to joking about the matter, he couldn't help himself anymore. He could just hope everything went well. "It's fine," he therefore answered her assurance that she would keep her father in line, even thought he'd like to see that.
When she weaved her fingers through his he walked with her like that for some time before he let go of her hand and put his arm around her shoulders instead. He liked this better, as he was able to hold her closer this way. "I'm sure we can arrange that." Honeydukes would be a good idea in his opinion. Afterwards they could sit down somewhere to eat the chocolate before they met up with family.

Sydney curled up into his arm as he wrapped it around her shoulders and she placed her hand on his chest as they walked. She felt so safe with him, and so very happy. She was nervous about what would happen if they fought. They had only been in a few arguments during their friendship and she didn’t like how it felt when they did. She wanted to be this blissful and happy forever.
“Good. Sweets and then we meet everyone. Maybe I should get Dad something to break the ice. And he won’t kill you, I promise.”
She smiled as the homes and shops of the small village of Hogsmeade came into view. She actually wouldn’t mind living in a quaint little home in this place. But it might not be right for just after graduation.
“Finn...what are your plans for after graduation? I don’t mean with work or anything. I don’t know what I want to do either. But I was wondering about...living arrangements. Should I talk to Freya about being her flatmate?” It was really just her way of asking him if he wanted to live with her, but she didn’t want to scare him off.

Finn smiled at her and gave her a small peck on the lips while walking as she assured him again that her father wouldn't kill him. As he did so often, he just shrugged the problem off for now. He was pretty good at pushing uncomfortable thoughts to the back of his mind. He just didn't know if that was always such a good way of dealing with problems. He shook his head to clear it. "I'm sure my father will love you in an instance and invite you over for a family dinner to meet mum properly as soon as school's over." Finn chuckled at the thought. He was almost sure it would be that way. How could his parents not like the girl who'd been the best friend to two of their children and who now was his girlfriend.
He looked at Sydney for a long moment after she'd asked about 'living arrangements', as she'd called it, then just spoke his mind. "I don't know. I just barely figured out what I want to do, living was next on my list of things I'd rather not think about as it's all going faster as soon as you think about it. But to be honest, deep down somewhere, I guess I'd counted on Dylan that I could stay with him. I mean, he works at the Ministry anyway, so... But now things kind of have changed pretty much, so I don't know..." he trailed off. That would be super awkward if he would stay with Dylan permanently with his girlfriend coming over all the time and then with Sydney, it would be as if they lived together all four of them and that would be past awkward. Apart from the fact that Freya would be pretty much left out. Now he thought about it, he didn't really want Sydney to talk to Freya about being her flatmate. Instead, he'd rather replace his sibling and live with Sydney himself. He blinked. Wow, this was all going really fast right now. Moving in together immediately after graduation? Who did that? And when they'd only begun dating a few weeks ago. People would think her to be pregnant for sure. Finn turned to Sydney, a bit helpless, and shrugged. "What do you think?"
