Okay so to start this off, this is another fight thread, but it's going to be at The Little Witches and Wizards Daycare, and outside of it as well. So people, before you even think about putting people in think of these things. One, is there a logical reason as to why your character is even there, two, these fights will be open for a few weeks and we'd like to try and get these done and finished in that time so please think about if you'll be able to post in here during that time.
That's about all, so just in advance, if any admin see a character posting in here which has no reason to be there (ie. A student just randomly showing up unless you can provide good reason for it) then there post will be deleted as it's irrelevant, and we want to keep these fights as realistic as possible.
Thanks! --- Now onto the thread...

The wolf inside Rainer was threatening to break out, his teeth were in full set points, his golden eyes flashing with his excitement. He was still fortunately in his human form, since he was going to have to apparate to the daycare center which was his mission for today, along with a few others. Neither Rainer nor Liam appreciated this new minister taking over, so they decided to just take another stab at the wizarding world. The New Minister...well let's just say Rainer thought it was hilarious, bringing in some newbie rookie to take over. He was just some young kid who Rainer had never seen before so he highly doubted the man's power and his authority since he was, in total a nobody to the Wizarding world before he just popped up announcing he was the new Minister for Magic.
It had made all the wolves laugh at that fact, no one had ever seen this man before yet here he was parading about acting the new Minister. Well Rainer would soon put him in his place, and show him where he belonged. And what better way to do that than having a direct speech from Rainer Greyback himself to the public about their new Minister? It was a splendid idea. With his instruction to wolves to come and help him in about 30 minutes, that would be enough time for him to say him to wait it out, say his little speech and probably kill a few people, passers by, workers.
Rainer as cold hearted as he was would never hurt kids...okay that was a lie, he wouldn't hurt kids he liked, so attacking a daycare was perfectly fine with him. It wasn't like Bobby was there so he was fine with burning the place down to the ground. This would definitely be attacking them "where they hurt" as quoted by Liam. Attacking a daycare would show the wizarding world that they were ready to do their worst, and that they had no moral or integral boundaries. They'd go as far as it would take for them to step down from power and let the Dark side take over.
It was nearing 9am, when the daycare opened from what Rainer's scout had seen from his previous reconnaissance missions of the area. It was simple enough, Rainer was just going to sit by at the park bench which was across the road, the stop being for those waiting for the Knight Bus. It would be simple as pie, all he had to do was wait until there was some people there before he'd storm the place and have his fun.
All he had to do now, was wait and see what happened.

Zac had the SUV ready to go, all he had to do was get the kids strapped in and they'd be on their way to childcare for the day. He was still helping Brayden put on his shoes while Corra complained loudly about not liking her hair for the day (which Zac had also done, he was rather good at braiding which he was quite proud of...which he'd never admit to anyone), and Sye just watched television while he waited for his siblings. This was a usual morning in the Elwood household, and Zac was more than used to having to get them all ready and strapped into their respectable baby chairs and seats in the car.
Each day would start out simple, wake up at 6:30, go for an hour run or workout, come home and shower by 8, get the kids up and dressed, give them their breakfast of cereal and fruit while he made their food for the day and had a protein shake which was his usual breakfast before work. Then from there he'd drive them to daycare, he'd go home and park the car and then apparate to work by 9:30 which was his usual check in time, going till late afternoon if he had to or even into the night, but he'd always pick the kids up at exactly 5pm sharp to take them home. If he couldn't then he always asked one of the twins or a mate to get them but he made sure to always be home to put them to bed on those nights he was asked to work late.
"Come on kids, into the car," Zac said, tying the last bunny knot in Brayden's shoe laces before the toddler stood, letting Zac scoop him up as he grabbed his keys and moved to the car, helping them all into their seats and making sure they were all buckled up before he realized that he'd forgotten his wallet with his license, leaving the doors open for the kids so there was enough air in the car as he went to go and grab his wallet before he'd take the kids to the daycare. Somehow though, he felt like something was off, and it made a chill run up his spine. Something felt ominous about today, just the mood of the air around him...and he didn't like it at all.

Wyatt walked across the busy street of London towards the Little Witches and Wizards Daycare center, a hand in his pocket, the other lighting a cigarette. His deep brown eyes surveyed his surroundings as he walked towards the bench where his Leader was sitting. Today was they day; he thought with a small smile on his face as he watched a Ministry Official pull up to the daycare center in a Muggle contraption causing Wyatt to scrunch up his nose in disgust.
Sitting down Wyatt nodded his head to Rainer before looking away acting like he didnāt know the man he sat next to as he āwaitedā for the Knight bus to arrive. He couldnāt wait to attack, as he sat there, his leg tapping restlessly as he made a show to look at his watch, as if he were running late for a meeting, when in actuality he was excited and couldnāt wait to wreak havoc on the Daycare Center which opened in a few minutes.
Wyatt watched closely as an older woman unlocked the doors to the building and smiled softly as he saw a few figures move closer, it was almost time, Wyatt could practically taste their blood, he needed this, the thrill, the control, much more than he would like to admit. He liked being in Rainer's pack, he didn't have to hide who he really was, and none of them turned their back on him when they saw how horrible he really was.

Harriett had a free day. She had an article to write but it wasn't due for a few more days and there was nothing on her timetable. No interviews, no stories. Tristan Vaughn was in England and she had definitely shotgunned interviewing him. They were old friends after all since he was best friends with Zac. She had heard about his family though and it had broken her heart. Tristan was an amazing guy and he didn't deserve that to happen to him at all, neither did his family. She couldn't imagine leaving and returning to find her family dead. She would probably go insane or kill herself. She would't be able to live without them, especially not Zac and Mariah. The whole thing he ended up with her craving to see her family.
So she woke early one morning with the intent of going to see her family and help Zac get the kids in to Daycare. She use to do it all the time with him until her work picked up and she was suddenly missed it. She often picked them up however when Zac couldn't and she loved looking after them after they'd had a busy day. They would just chat and chat as she made them food and played with them. She loved her siblings, she really did.
She apparated from her apartment to outside the house and grinned, about to walk to the front door when she heard her name being called. She turned to see the young ones already in the car. She grinned and walked over, leaning in the already open door grinning. "Hey guys, looking good today." She said as she gently touched Brayden's cheek with a grin before standing and leaning against the car, a raised eyebrow as her older brother returned.
"I could have kidnapped these kids if I wanted to." She teased before walking forward and hugging him tightly, Tristan's story flashing through her mind as she mourned for her friend and felt grateful to have her family. "Love you Zac." She said quietly, being serious which was a rare occasion.

Rosie was torn and confused. Alana had left. She had been watching as the fight between her Alpha and his mate drove her from the pack. She had been tempted to chase after the woman but she had known if Rainer spotted her than she would probably be punished. She had retreated to her cave and sat there, holding herself close. Not a lot of thing scared her but not having Alana around did. She had been the one who saved her, the one who brought her to the pack and now she was gone. She had no idea what to do or think. Could she leave the pack? Would Rainer allow it? Did she even want to?
Wyatt was the only other individual she really talked to. He was like an older brother to her. He could never replace Spencer but he could accept her for the dark urges she had. He would accept the fact she killed people since he and Rainer were the ones who told her to do. She was afraid to approach him now though. She wasn't sure what to say or do. She would never have imagined Rainer and Alana breaking up, even worse she would never imagine Alana leaving. Now she had no idea what to do. Of course she was soon told. They were attacking, the next move.
The idea was tempting. She'd had her first proper taste of blood and she'd enjoyed it. The wolf in her had enjoyed the death she'd caused, the blood she'd spilled. However when she heard that it was a daycare she was torn. She knew Alana would never have attacked a daycare. She would never have let Rainer do it either because Alana couldn't hurt kids. So she felt some strange connection to not do it. Of course she didn't have a choice. She would go in but she wasn't going to hurt any child. She couldn't bring herself to do that.
So there she was, dressed clothes to make her look slightly older as she stood at the bus stop, Rainer and Wyatt sitting there. They didn't look at each other, they looked like they were going to go about their business. She could see people arriving, their kids in tow and she looked down at the watch on her wrist as if checking the time. Of course she was really just waiting for the moment that this started so it could finish.

Rose hadn't worked the night before which meant it was her turn to take Melody to Daycare. She had rolled out of bed and showered, looking down at her stomach the entire time with a small smile. At the moment it was back at it's flat shape but soon, very soon, she would see it start to change. It had already been two months. She let the warm water run over her as she thought about having another child. She wasn't going to enjoy being fat again. She hated feeling like a whale. It also might be harder to get back to her pre-baby weight. Of course she wasn't really bothered over those things. She was more worried about the pregnancy not going well or having to be pregnant through the war which was about to start.
She got out the shower and got dressed, making food for her daughter who she knew would be awake but hadn't emerged from her room yet. Or maybe she was in waking up Kable she didn't know. She made some toast and put banana on it, scrunching her nose at the gross snack her husband and forced on their child. Soon her daughter emerged and she grinned, handing her the plate of food and watching her munch on it. She ate her own toast before walking to her daughters bedroom, the young girl following.
Soon enough she was standing by the fireplace, her daughter dressed with her bag on her back and ready to go. They were using the floo network as usual. her daughter loved the green flames, she had never been afraid of them. Rose turned to the corridor door with a smile on her face. "We're leaving baby!" She called though she could hear the shower so she doubted Kable would have heard her. He was fast on his way to being late. She grabbed the powder, said the name and was soon emerging into the daycare. She smiled at one of the workers there before leading Mel over to the bag area.

Carver was just so excited, he couldn't contain it. He was going back to the daycare! He had missed playing with other boys and girls his age since he had begun to live with his daddy. He liked the hotel, it was big and the people were always nice to him and he always got an extra big slice of chocolate cake from the kitchen, but he still didn't have people to play with, other than the nanny he had to be his friend. He missed his friends, since even Tyger was gone now too. But, most of all Carver missed his Mummy. If there was one person he just wanted to see he just wanted to see his mummy.
He had thought he'd seen her at the hotel where his Daddy worked but Daddy had said that he couldn't talk to her. She had a car crash and something happened to her mind, then she couldn't remember Carver and Daddy anymore. Carver didn't want that, he wanted to be able to give his mummy hugs and kisses again, and then tell her that he loved her and that daddy loved her too, because he knew that. He saw it, how Daddy looked at pictures of them, pictures of Carver too, as a baby. Carver knew his daddy hadn't known about him until last year but he didn't care about that, he just was happy to have a Daddy now than not having one at all.
Holding his Daddy's hand he was so excited, he had his bag already on his shoulders. "Come on Daddy, let's go already! I want to go and play!" Carver said excitedly, practically dragging his father to the daycare as his green eyes were alight with the thought of new friends and adventures! He was going to have so much fun today!

Zac didn't like the ominous feeling which was sitting on his shoulder's like a lead weight, it was unnerving and slightly off putting. It made him want to just put the kids back into their beds and tuck them in. He had to shake it off though, it was probably just someone else's emotions rubbing off on him again. Even with all his training and honing of his powers of being an Empath other people's strong emotions still affected him, no matter how hard he tried to fight it some emotions like grief, anger and happiness were just too infectious for the young man to not give in. It was his body craving for other's emotions, that was the life of an Empath, living off other's feelings.
He felt a familiar presence approach though and he smiled, he could tell who it was before he even needed to see their face. Zac had practically raised Harriett so he knew her personality and her emotional signature which was uniquely her. Everyone had something distinguishing about them that made their emotions all feel a little different from each other, even if everyone was experiencing sadness it would all feel just slightly different from the other since no two people thought in exactly the same way all the time.
Walking back to the car he saw his little sister leaning up against the side of the black SUV, her words could only make him chuckle. "Please, I would be able to tell if someone was even approaching with bad intentions," taps his temple with a knowing smile. As Harriett moved forward to hug him he could feel her unease and he just wrapped her up in thick, strong arms as he had to stoop to her height, embracing her tightly since he knew she needed it. "Love you too Ettie, always." He gave her another tight squeeze before he pulled away, giving her his usual smile before he jerked his head towards the car.
"Want to come for a ride? I'm just going to drop the kids off," he asked, tossing his keys in the air as he caught them repeatedly, not even having to wait for an answer from Harriett because he knew what it'd be. Climbing into the car he waited for his sister to be seated before he started the car and pulled out of the driveway, their destination being the daycare. Taking a park on the street outside, glad that there had been some spaces still he did a perfect parallel park, turning off the ignition as he stepped out to help the kids out. Once all three were out he took Brayden in his arms, leaving Corra and Sye to walk as he moved through the entrance of the daycare to drop the kids off.
Putting Brayden down in the foyer he smiled at the lady working there, thanking them on their hard work as he smiled and watched the kids toddle off, but that bad feeling was creeping up again and he felt the hairs on the back of his neck rise. Something wasn't right...

Onyx had decided to call into work late that day. It was on these days where she took care of the kids for Arlyn; she'd give him a gentle kiss to partially awake him, whisper that she was taking the kids and not to worry, she would write a note and leave it beside him for she knew he would forget about it once he awoke. As soon as the father was taken care of, she had woken up Blair first, picking out clothing for him to wear before she awoke her beautiful Maddy. Once Onyx had both kids ready, she allowed them to sneak into Arlyn's room to give him a kiss good-bye before she shuffled them outside and into the muggle car she had.
Once everyone was seated and buckled in, Onyx took them to breakfast. Of course next to all of the sugar they consumed, she forced some protein and grain in here and there. The blonde loved the mornings she spent with the kids, they were her pride and joy. In fact, it was almost as if they were her own children. Onyx would give up her life for any one of the Valentine family.
Soon enough, they were in front of the day care and Onyx let them out, scooping Maddy into her arms and holding Blair's hand as they crossed the street. There was a sense of foreboding in the air that made her feel uneasy and she held the kids a little closer to her. She must just be paranoid after the last attack on the Minister.
"Mes petite chous, I'll pick you two up after I get off work, d'accord?" She told them as she stepped into the building. "And then I'll make you dinner. Who knows what concoction your papa will make!" She laughed and enjoyed the tinkling of Blair and Maddy's laughter.
When it got to signing them in, she kissed Blair's forehead as he ran off to play and she turned to Maddy. "You'll get to go momentarily, ma cheriƩ. I promise."
Her nerves from outside still swept through her and she felt her fingers give a slight tremble. She didn't like the feeling she was having and she was about ready to grab Blair and take them to work alongside her. Dominic would just have to get over it, if she felt uneasy, there was no way she was leaving her petite chous here without her or Arlyn.

Post by Jackson James Foster on Mar 17, 2013 17:41:29 GMT -5
Jackson had a busy day ahead of him, but busy days were always great. This meant that he would be bringing in more money that month which meant he could spend much more on Rachel. Jacks was all dressed for his first task that morning, a photoshoot down at the Thames River for a couple recently engaged. The thought made his heart ache as he thought back to Lucien and the letter she had sent him.
She had been with someone else, it only made Jackson wonder what he had done to push her away. Had he told her he loved her too soon? She had apologized over and over in her letter. Had they broken up? Did he hate her? No. Jackson was still completely and utterly in love with her. He just didn't understand why she had gone to another man, was he not enough? Was he a terrible boyfriend? He knew she had been too good for him, although she seemed to think otherwise.
He pushed the thoughts of Lucien to the back of his head as he sighed. He didnt want to think about her and the pain that came with the thought of her with someone else. After his photo job, he was going straight to the ice cream parlor, but none of that mattered right now. Right now he was focused on the little time he got with his baby sister that day. He had gotten her showered, dressed and fed. Hell, he had even attempted to put her hair in a braid and it looked pretty good if he did say so himself. However, Rachel seemed to already be exhausted, for when they arrived at the daycare, she was sound asleep in her carseat.
The brunette chuckled to himself as he scooped her up into his arms and grabbed her stuffed rabbit that she loved so much. Rachel murmured in her sleep as Jackson positioned her on his shoulder and he quietly shushed her, letting her know everything was alright. He nodded his head good morning to the people waiting at the bus stop as he crossed to the daycare and disappearing into the building.
The Minister's secretary was there and he was surprised she wasn't engulfed in Aurors. In fact, she didn't seem to have much protection like Jackson thought she would. Had the new Minister cut back on her protection to strengthen his?
What would they do for dinner? Maybe he'd invite Bethany, Jay and their new son. Marley too. Those people could cook and they'd surely save Rachel from another night of Mac and Cheese or Spaghetti. The Foster family was tired of pasta-based meals.

Rainer sat there with Wyatt on his left and Rosie on his right, the three of them all awaiting the time for the opening of the store. As the seconds ticked by more of those muggle machines pulled up before the building situated in London, people with their kids all piling out and into the daycare. Oh what a surprise they had coming for them today. Rainer Greyback would be making a small little...presentation for the children and their families, one which he was sure would grab the Minister's attention right off the bat.
Standing, his long coat which hid his huge frame swirled about his knees, crossing the road with determination as he strode through the open daycare doors with ease. There was no alarm, no one stopped him from entering, no danger at all. It was as if no one cared about the fact that there was a Dark Lord on the rise, at least not within this daycare center. They'd really have to work on that, since Rainer was here to cause havoc under Liam's suggestion. This attack was controversial and would do more than just strike fear within the populace of London and Europe, but it was also to show the new Minister that he was nothing compared to the power of the Dark which would win.
Stripping himself of his hat which covered his long hair, shaking the sandy blonde locks out, his eyes golden as he locked onto a child passing him happily. Grinning at him with all his sharp fangs bared the child just looked up at him before letting out a shriek of terror. Rainer just let out a booming laugh as he grabbed the kid by the leg, dangling him upside down. "Well, well, what do we have here? No guards at all? Did you think we wouldn't come to hurt children, hm?" Rainer said, making sure to draw the attention of the entire room with his voice, the underlying growl of his alpha coming through even as he spoke. "Let me tell you now, this place will be nothing but ashes by the time I'm through with you all."
Shaking the kid he let out another round of laughter, hearing the cries of the child only fueled his want to cause more and more pain. He was in his element here, this was who he was meant to be. The cold and heartless Rainer Greyback.

Post by Carver Well Brookes on Mar 24, 2013 0:31:05 GMT -5
Carver could barely contain his excitement as he ran to the daycare, his backpack bouncing around wildly on his back. The young boy didn't even care about the fact that his father was still lagging behind him, he just wanted to go and play! He had been at his daddy's hotel for so long, it was beginning to get boring since Carver knew all the secret hiding spots and where the best place to get to see his mummy was without him actually being in her sight either. He'd learnt all his Daddy's friends names, and they all knew him too, it made him feel special to be friends with so many adults but he still wanted company his own age.
Running in through the familiar play room he dumped his bag onto his allocated hook, his name scribbled above it on a name tag. He quickly spotted his friend Sye who was the same age as him as he ran over and embraced his friend, and seeing his older sister there too he just gave her a nod and a small wave shyly. She was very pretty after all, and his mummy had told him once that if he wanted for her to look at him too, he had to be nice.
Seeing his other friend Blair come in too, Carver smiled at him and waved the boy over. The three 5 year olds were the best of friends, they always played together. Carver just wished that Tyger was also here, he knew that his friend loved to play games too. Running to go to Blair he soon bumped into a big man who appeared before him, making Carver stumble slightly.
As the man took of his hat and smiled at him Carver could see the rows of sharp teeth and he didn't like it at all. He knew something wasn't right, this man was like the bad guy, the evil man who locked away the princess in the highest tower. He felt a scream tore though his throat as he tried to get away, tripping over his own feet as he scrambled away. Daddy, DADDY!" Carver yelled, his hands fumbling for the air as he was suddenly inverted in the evil man's grip. "Let me go, LET ME GO!" Carver screamed, his voice high pitched in his terror.
He didn't like this, he wanted his daddy, he wanted this man to let him go...

Oliver had finally given in to Carver's wishes. He had been harping on at him to go to daycare for days. Oliver was cautious, he didn't like his son being away for long. He missed him too much and with everything happening with his mother he just couldn't lose another member of his family. However he did realise that his son needed to be around kids his own age so he would let him go for the day to see his friends. He owed him that much and it also meant that for the day they wouldn't have to worry about Chase finding him. Of course she wouldn't exactly do anything but he couldn't risk Carver doing anything.
Oliver wasn't stupid, he knew that Carver knew his mother was in the hotel. He was a smart boy, taking after his parents. He was surprised he hadn't brought it up or tried to talk to her. Oliver had explain what had happened to his mother but he was still a young child, he couldn't understand it properly. So here he was, Carver pulling him along as he walked him to the daycare Chase use to work at. He didn't trust any other with his son and he knew the people there would look after his son well.
He passed other parents and soon he was walking inside. He watched his son run off and go play with other kids. He nodded at Chase's workmates and other parents before turning and walking out. He walked outside, passing a man who walked in as he walked away. He was walking down the pavement, thinking about Chase back at the hotel. He only sighed as he thought about it. He was losing hope every day, losing hope that his love would return to him.
He was brought from his thoughts when he heard a scream, a scream which belonged to his son. He froze and turned, no idea what was going on but he knew that his son was in danger and needed him. Within seconds he was sprinting towards the daycare, he should never have let his son leave the hotel. He had his wand in hand as he burst through the door and his eyes fell on Rainer Greyback holding his son by the leg. He firing spells in seconds, watching as they hit him though he had to be careful of his son.
"Let him go!" He yelled, no fear as he glared at the wanted death eater.

Wyatt smiled as more and more people began to show up with their kids, all of whom were happily chatting with their friends around them, totally unaware of what was about to happen. Glancing to his right he saw Rosie standing by Rainer and nodded to her in a brief hello, everything was going to plan. Marvelous.
Standing Wyatt followed Rainer, his Alpha, into to the daycare with ease. No one looked at them twice as they walked in despite the fact that they were childless at the moment. Wyatt looked around and began to tap his fingers together in anticipation for what was to come, he was going to enjoy every minute of this.
Then a smiling kid ran by and before Wyatt could blink Rainer took hold of him and turned him upside down, much like those bullies you'd see on a Muggle TV. Wyatt leaned up against the wall, arms crossed against his chest as he listened to his leader address the whole daycare center. The kid, as expected, shrieked in terror as Ranier barred his teeth at him which made Wyatt wince slightly. Not because he felt bad for the kid, no, because the kid was being loud and Wyatt wished he'd shut up. Not that it mattered he would...soon enough. A thought that made Wyatt a lot happier than it should.
Then the back door opened and a man, no doubt this kids father, came running in, wand drawn as he shouted a few spells in Rainers direction all of which landed their mark. Wyatt growled, teeth bared, as he shoved the man up against the wall, delivering a hard blow to his stomach and several to his face.
When Wyatt was finished a few seconds later the man was still breathing, however it was more labored causing Wyatt to suspect a few broken ribs. The man looked at white with hate only causing Wyatt to chuckle darkly.
Turning back to the rest of the daycare Wyatt fixed his sleeve before glancing up'anyone else want to play hero?' Wyatt asked with a raised eyebrow as he scanned the room. When no one responded he looked at Rosie and nodded towards the only door in the building, telling her to guard or lock it, he didn't care which just so long as there weren't anymore surprises.

Rainer was loving this, the fighting, the chaos. This is what he lived for, what he would happily do for the rest of his life. This war was perfect, and his position in it made sure that he could do whatever the fuck he wanted to and no one could tell him otherwise. He and Liam had an...arrangement of sorts so it was just perfect.
Holding the child aloft, Rainer only smirked as a man who obviously had some courage stood up to fight him, shooting off spells which barely made any difference. although he dropped the kid to the floor, grinning down at the screaming boy. "Run along now child, before the big bad wolf eats you up." That seemed to do the trick as people around started screaming and Rainer could only laugh.
He saw Wyatt do his thing over in the corner, getting the man who had attacked him. He threw back his long, sandy hair and let out a howl, calling for all the other wolves to enter and attack. This was going to be fun.
