It had been a week since Gabby had seen her boyfriend and she was missing him. They had been dating for around 9 months and she thought it was going relatively well. They had to work at it obviously but that's what relationships were about right? He was incredibly good looking, not that Gabby was superficial like that but it always helped. He was also incredibly sweet to her and she loved it. She loved affection and he seemed to shower in it. Of course he did have flaws, his drinking and temper that sometimes flared but she could manage it. He was worth it.
She finished work at 8, knowing it was later than usual but she decided to see if he was working. He was bartender and she wasn't sure if he was working that night or not. She could always wait for him to get back to his house. She didn't really invite him to hers because she wasn't sure what her father would think. Not because she thought lowly of Jayden, no she just didn't trust her father. He would never take lightly to someone who could potentially take away his daughter and leave him alone. So she always brushed off the subject. She was dating but nothing serious. Of course nine months was rather serious, but he didn't need to know that.
She took off her apron until she was just in the black dress which came in at her waist and finished just below her knee. She wore black boots, sensible footwear. She didn't think the outfit was too bad. Of course it was just a work outfit but it was better than some. And she got to choose the dress. She left The Leaky Cauldron and apparated as soon as she was outside, appearing in front of her boyfriends home. She grinned with excitement as butterflies filled her stomach. She wasn't nervous, she just couldn't wait to see her boyfriend. She cared for him a lot though she wasn't sure it was love, not yet.
She didn't bother knocking on the door, unlocking it and walking inside. She dumped her back by the door and walked forward, looking around silently for her boyfriend. She had a huge grin on her face and the she spotted him sitting in the lounge, his back to her. Her eyes twinkled with glee as she snuck forward, reaching him and then quickly putting her hands over his eyes and leaning forward to his ear.
"Guess who."

Jayden was looking forward to work tonight, there was muggle teen boy that kept coming to the bar that he just couldn’t stand. Some days he would bring his girlfriend, and other days he would come alone and nearly have sex on the bar table with a girl he would “pick up” it pissed Jayden off to see every night. Jayden had his own girlfriend that he honestly adored, he just couldn’t see himself ever cheating on her. He’d probably see if she wanted to come over later on tonight, convince her to stay over.
The ex-Slytherin flipped through the pages in his book, trying to look for a spell to use on the muggle boy later. There was one he read about before, it was used back in the old times for women mainly who were married but faithful. It would cause you to constantly feel all the people you’ve been with other than your spouse, at one time. For a women it was more painful the more guys you’ve been with, because while it wasn’t leave damage to the physical body, you could still feel the pain. He just had to figure out how to edit it for a man rather than a women.
He heard the door of his house open, he was grateful that his parents helped to get own place, otherwise he probably wouldn’t have been able to so with just the job at the bar. He closed the book, sliding it down under the couch, knowing that his girlfriend was the only one with a key, and he was sure she wouldn’t be too happy about the dark magic choice in reading.
About ready to stand up and go to greet her, he felt soft hands over his eyes. He grinned, “It couldn’t be the only girl who has a key to my house, could it?” Jayden replied smartly but flirty. He titled his head back, with his eyes covered and kissed her cheek.

Gabby grinned and giggled at what her boyfriend said then at his kiss. She loved his little comments, they made her smile and feel special. She walked around and sat herself on his lap, a leg on either side of him as she pecked him on the lips quickly before pulling back and letting out a happy sigh. She looked around the room, it was messier than what it had been since she was last here. She looked back at her boyfriend.
"Good answer." She said before kissing him again, this time longer than before.
She then jumped up and walked over to the table, picking up all the loose papers and looking over at him with an unimpressed expression though she was still smiling. He knew she liked things to be tidy yet he threw his stuff everywhere. Of course it was his house but that didn't matter, she spent a lot of time in it. She didn't even look at the papers, not bothering to read them as she piled the neatly before turning and sitting on the table, swinging her legs.
"Have you been to work yet? I'm surprised your here" She asked as she smiled at the handsome man. She was lucky to be with. She knew a few of her friends weren't keen on him. She never understood why, he treated her amazingly, there was no evidence stacked against him for anything they said. "I could come to work with you if you haven't been. I love getting drunk in your bar." Sarcasm in her voice about the being drunk, she never drank alcohol. She did enjoy dancing there though. She loved seeing his face if anyone tried to dance with her, she secretly loved the feeling that she was his and only his.

Jayden smirked into the kiss with Gabby, he loved how things were so easy going with his girl. He couldn't help but roll his eyes at the "Good answer" with the smile still printed on his face. He rested his hands on her waist, kissing her neck while he knew she was looking at his messy house. He never really wanted to clean the place, honestly he was raised with house elves to do that type of thing, why did he have to? He let his hands fall as she jumped off him, Jayden followed her with his eyes has she moved old daily prophets and letters around on the table, he smiled at the look she gave him.
"Oh don't even give me that look.. I have you, I don't need to clean anything." Jayden said walking up to her, wrapping his arms around her waist kissing her neck again. "My sexy cleaning lady" Jayden said as a whisper to be flirty, he set his head on her shoulder to glance at the table. He could clean up around here, it wasn't too bad...but really, he didn't want to. Glancing with only his eyes over to the couch, he made sure the book he was reading earlier was really out of site, Jayden did a mental sigh relaxing to the fact that he didn't have to find a way to cover up why he had the book or even why it was hidden. That would be hard to explain.
He heard what Gabby had asked, only to snort. "If you come with me..you're gonna get me fired with the guys that keep touching you." Jayden hated the muggle boy for cheating, he wasn't a cheater himself, he wouldn't be able to hurt Gabby like that. But damn it, he was possessive. Gabby was his, and while she was his, no fucking guy is going touch her. And since he worked at a muggle bar, no bloody muggle was going to lay a finger on his girl. If Gabby came with him tonight, he wouldn't be able to get that muggle boy tonight. He sighed, there was always the next night. "Save me a dance for when I get off, so I can show all the wanting boys that you're mine and I'm not up for sharing."
Looking at table, he saw a book cover corner that was covered up by papers, he inwardly panicked. He was more than sure Gabby wasn't going to like the Dark Magic spell book on his table. He did a quick thought process before she got to into cleaning, he grabbed her waist and swung her back on to the couch. Kissed her once before tickling her sides like mad to make her forget about the mess around his house.

Gabby shot him a glare though the corner of her lips were turned up to give away her amusement as he said he didn't have to clean because he had her. She turned back to the table as she felt him behind her, wrapping his arms around her and grinning as he kissed her neck. She giggled at his comment before elbowing him gently. "You need to learn to clean yourself." She didn't push him away though, she loved being close to him, especially after not seeing him for a week. She turned and looked at him as he spoke and she grinned cheekily.
"I don't let boys touch me silly, and if I do we're just dancing. Though you getting fired would mean more time for me." She said as she kissed him quickly on the lips with an innocent smile.
She turned back to the table, intending to get the rest. If they were going to have dinner, or do anything on this table there had to be at least some room. She knew her boyfriend liked to read but the amount of books and papers he had were ridiculous. It was like he was still studying although he'd left Hogwarts. She shook her head, turning to grin at him. "Of course I'm going to save a dance for you!" She said before turning back to the table. She was about to move her attention towards a pile of messy books when she felt herself moving.
She let out a squeak of surprise as she landed on the couch and before she could register what was going on she was being tickled. She burst out laughing, giggling and rolling around, trying to get her crazy boyfriend off her as her eyes watered. "Oh my gosh! Jayden! Stop! I can't breathe! Oh my god! Oh my god! Jayden!" She cried though her giggles sounded through most of the noise she made.

Jayden rose an eyebrow, "In what world does dancing not have a crazy amount of touching?" Grinning, he rolled his eyes at the mess. He'd probably just send it up to his room if she tired moving things around too much. He had to have the extra effort to make sure he didn't get caught. When the dark lord wins later, maybe she'll be happy that someone was the winning side and there for her. But that wasn't so rung he was going to focus on right then. He hasn't even gotten marked yet, though his parents and older sister were, he was almost glad that he didn't have it yet...it would be so hard to keep that glamour up all the time around Gabby, especially on night she stayed over.
Well, he did notice it would give her friends a real reason to hate him. He wasn't blind to see that Gabby got shit for being with him, his parents and friends excepted Gabby for the most part. They were pissed off at first about her views in the war, but in the end, they saw that no matter Gabby's views, Jayden's hadn't changed. "Good. I think the boyfriend deserves a dance more than all the kiddies who want a piece if you." Jayden teased, he liked the fact that he was a little older than Gabby, he teased her a little for it. Her friends didn't like it though, to his point of view it really wasn't anyone fucking business who she dated.
He didn't stop tickling her for awhile, finally he stopped to give her a breather. She really did look adorable with her hair all flustered and laughing. He felt pretty good to be the one to cause it, and he could do it whenever he wanted to. Jayden took his wand, vanishing his work from the table to the study connected to his room. He didn't want Gabby to catch her breath only to go back to what he was trying to avoid. "See? All clean." Jayden grinned cockily, "And did it all without a cleaning lady."

Gabby shot Jayden a look a she poked her tongue out at him at the kiddies comment. So he was a few years older than her, that didn't mean anything. It was of course one of the reasons why her friends weren't so fond of him. Of course her dad didn't know anything about him. Phoenix didn't but of course that was more his choice than hers. Not that she would tell him. He was still coldish towards hers. She didn't care, she was glad he was at least polite. She knew he was always trying to run away but she didn't give him the option. She loved him like her own brother, no matter how stupid he was to avoid her affection.
She was on the couch laughing, tears dripping down her cheeks. She must have looked a mess as her hair got messy from her wriggling but she couldn't stop smiling, even as her boyfriend stopped and she clutched her sides as she breathed heavily, her muscles hurting. She watched as he got rid of all his stuff on the table and she grinned at him, reaching up to loop her hands behind his neck and pull him down so she could kiss him.
"Is that all I am to you now? A cleaning lady?" She teased against his lips before she pushed him off her and onto the ground next to the couch. She giggled at her payback before sitting up and looking around with a sigh. "Why do you even need all the books and papers you keep? And just moving them from one room to another isn't cleaning! It's moving the mess!" She said with a grin as she leaned down to kiss him on the floor.
She then got up and walked over to the front door to get her bag. She walked back with it over her shoulder and smiled at him. "I'll be getting changed. When are you planning on going to work? Eating before or there?" She asked as she walked towards the hallway leading to his bedroom, she stopped in the doorframe and waited for an answer, a smile on her lips.

Jayden pursed his lips as if to think about the question, only to finally brush it off. No, baby, you aren’t just my cleaning lady. But Jayden knew Gabby knew that, he didn’t say it aloud he just kissed her cheek, and smiled. “Babe, if I move the mess to where it can’t be seen, how is it still a mess?” He replied with an easy smile, he sat back on the couch watching her leaning against the door, “I guess we can just eat over there. I don’t really want to cook and you just got off work, I’m pretty sure you don’t want to either.”
He hoped he would just stay in his bedroom and change and didn’t wonder to his study. Maybe he should just keep his books at his parent’s house, that way he didn’t have to worry about Gabby stumbling across something she wouldn’t like. Or maybe he should just tell her, would she really mind that he studied magic? He didn’t have to tell her the whole thing, just the reading part. “So my sister and my parents got into it the other day.” Jayden lied, his sister hadn’t even been around them the past few months but Gabby only knew that Jayden and her weren’t talking. “Mother firecalled me saying she’s reading into dark magic, I thought it was pretty cool, I mean it’s just reading. Mother got bloody pissed that I sided with her.”
The irony of the lie was, Jayden’s parents supported Jayden’s study while his sister was beyond against it. “I gotta get going here soon. I’m working late tonight, I don’t know if you’re staying over or plan on being there the whole time… But I should be getting off around like 2-2:30.” He looked at the time, and he probably should be getting changed himself. He was pretty dressed up for a muggle dance club, he normally wore what muggle’s called skater clothes. It got him bigger tips and well, he just looked less intimidating when he dressed like that. Muggles trusted him more, and made his job after work easier.
Jayden wanted to go back to playful before it got too serious with Jayden’s pervious questions. “I don’t know if you should come with me. You’re a bit young to be partying… your friends might come after me.” He smirked at his girlfriend, he was kidding, and he did want her to know that. She was legal, she was mature for her age, and he loved his girl. Her age was not a problem to him. “The big bad 22 year old boyfriend.” Jayden snorted. While he was glad her friends were there for her, they didn’t need to protect her from him.

Gabby stood in the doorway as her boyfriend started to talk about his family. Her eyes widened when he talked about her reading dark magic. Also she was surprised he'd sided with her, weren't the two suppose to be in a fight? She didn't approve of dark magic at all. In her opinion, it was what started the whole mess with the Dark side. She hated it right to her very core. People already had magic, why did they have to go meddling with dark magic? She looked at him with a frown, not believing that he thought it was okay. "Jayden dark magic is dangerous! Reading about it will eventually tempt someone to do something, have you not heard about Voldemort and how he found out about Horcruxes. I hate dark magic." She informed him, not liking the fact this conversation had made her mood drop. She was glad when he spoke, changing the subject and a smile made it's way onto her lips. "Of course I'm staying, I'm also coming to work with you.She then walked away to get changed, glad she had brought a dress to wear to the bar. She walked in to his room, throwing her bag on the bed before pulling out the red dress. She put it on and twirled in the mirror before walking back out a smile on her face. She smirked at his comment about her not coming out. He tried to pull that card every time. He sure liked teasing her about her age. She was only three years younger than him! She did a twirl. "Do I look good? You're lucky I make an exception to come to your bar. I hate drinking and partying but having you there makes it worth it." She said with a grin. It was true, she did hate drinking. She had never tasted alcohol in her life and she intended to keep it that. She had seen how it could destroy lives. She also didn't like partying but that was mainly because of the drinking factor. She did enjoy dancing though which why why Jayden's bar was okay, it wasn't a club, it was relaxed. Outfit

“It’s only reading though. I mean, if she went out practicing it that I would understand why people would get upset. You can read a murder mystery novel, but that doesn’t mean it will lead you to killing people. You can read about the muggle Hitler, but it doesn’t mean that you’ll attempt to wipe out a race of people. I don’t know, Gabby, like she’s my sister, I don’t want to look for reasons to be upset with her when we’re already fighting. It’s just reading.” Jayden wanted Gabby to be alright with the idea, or at least not hate him for it if she found out about reading into this thing later. He hated lying to her, but lying to her was better than losing her. What you don’t know, can’t hurt you. Isn’t that what that one muggle said about cheating? Jayden remembered for a moment. But he had a mental argument that, that was completely different. Cheating was more personal. It was worse. It wasn’t the same. Jayden tilted his head, smiling, rolling his eyes, “Of course you’re coming to work with me…Hey! I should be lucky? You just want to come so you can tease me all night!” Jayden playfully accused. Sometimes he was happy that Gabby felt so comfortable to come over when she wanted, that she was going to hang out while he worked, it was just… he’s never had a relationship that made him feel so at ease as he did with Gabby. “You look amazing...” He admitted. He knew that Jayden’s eyes weren’t going to be only ones on his girlfriend tonight. He was going to have to watch out for that. “You dress all nice, and I’m about to wear muggle clothes.” Jayden only caught the slip after he said it, so he covered it up with a laugh. “No wonder people question why you’re with me.” Standing up and kissing her cheek he walked past her to the stairs. “I’ll change and we can go okay?” Jayden walked up the stairs, only to rush around once he actually into his room to dress quickly and move all the books. He moved the ones he could see, to his study. This wasn’t an easy secret sometimes, since it had been a week since Gabby had come over he had gotten a little careless when it came to his studies and where he decided to put them. He locked his study, before heading back down the stairs. “Think I can score some tips?” Outfit

Gabby giggled and shrugged at his comment. It was true, she was coming out to tease him. She loved teasing him but it was because she enjoyed being with him. She would never go as far to try and make him jealous. She knew she didn't need to do that. She danced, sometimes with other guys but never past the point where she didn't think it was okay. If she ever saw that Jayden wasn't comfortable with it she would go over and if people didn't get the message she'd lean over the bar and kiss him.
When he complimented her she blushed slightly, use to it but still enjoying the way hearing those words made her feel. She raised an eyebrow at his comment before grinning. People didn't wonder. He was incredibly handsome, not matter what he wore. He just didn't see the looks girls gave him because he was too busy looking at her. Not that she was complaining.
"You're going to look handsome as always." She said as he kissed her cheek and she watched him go past her to the stairs. "Sounds good." She said with a grin before walking forward, her heels in her hand. She sat on the couch and and started putting the leopard print shoes on. She knew they might be a bit over top for the bar but it was okay. She would have fun, so would he and when they came back they would have fun together.
She looked up as she heard him coming down and stood smiling, suddenly a lot taller than she had been. She was his height now which was nice for a change. "Of course you will, you always do." She pointed out before offering her hand to him. He would no doubt apparate them there. She linked her arm with his when he got closer and smiled, looking forward to the night ahead.
