Ever shouldered the sports bag filled with her sweaty gear from training, her busy red curls were thrown back into a high ponytail yet it still hung to her mid back. She had changed into some more fitting clothing of a tight black printed crop top to cover her sports bra and the spare pair of sweat pants she had. Even though it was slightly cool in the nighttime air it was just after training so Ever was still all hot and pumped up from the work out she had gone through with the players.
Being a Quidditch trainer meant that she was in the prime time of her fitness, more so than a lot of the players as well. Ever worked hard everyday all day whether it was flying, working with Dragons or helping her dad out on the reserve with the clean up or even just going for a hike. She loved the outdoors and physical activity even with her tiny 4'8 frame, but she was as strong as any man even though she didn't have bulking muscle, she was strong. Sure she wouldn't be able to beat a full grown male in an arm wrestle, but she'd happily kick you in the nuts and deck you in the jaw if it came to it, and it'd be a K.O punch at that too. That's what comes from having grown up around men who taught you self defense and the weakest points on a man were. Especially after...what happened.
Ever shouldered her bag and walked from the pitch, the clear sky lit up the streets with white light from the moon, illuminating her way through the streets to the Apparation point down the road where she could go home to. However, a scuffling in a side street had her stopping as she looked down it, seeing a man beating the living day lights out of some poor bloke. Even though she was scared, unknown people always had her in shakes she still knew she couldn't leave it like this now that she had seen it. She wasn't a coward, but she wasn't a Gryffindor for nothing after all.
"Hey! Stop hurting him!" Ever said with all the courage she could, making sure her voice roared with all her might as it usually did when she was shouting orders at the team, not wavering with the actual fear she was currently experiencing. She stepped forward and threw the bag she had over her shoulder towards the men, advancing, "I'll scream bloody murder and wake every goddamn person around here up if you don't stop hurting that man!" Ever threatened again, this time with a little more courage, although she still kept a fair distance between her and the men, she was still scared, memories of her nine year old self flashing through her mind at the thought of men she didn't know.
