Rosie was relieved to see he was no longer laughing and was really considering it. She could see it by the way he studied her. He was really wondering if they were related. She knew that she shouldn't of said the lucky comment. It was a stupid thing to say when he had no idea about what his parents were like. They weren't nice people, well at least his father wasn't. His mother was just too stupid. He was the lucky one. He seemed fine now and that was all that mattered.
"I'd have preferred your option to mine." She said quietly before seeing his reaction to their death. She frowned, she hadn't meant to hurt him with the comment. Just learning you might meet your real parents only to find out they were dead. She had to remind herself, he really didn't know anything about what they were like. "Um yeah... it's probably for the best. You wouldn't want to meet them. Just keep whatever family you have now as your real one." She said quietly as she looked over the river. She hoped he had a family which loved him.
She bit her lip as she waited for an answer from him. If he asked her to leave she would. She would get up and walk away. From his sight at least. She would then find out where he lives and check in on him from time to time. She would never bother him though. It wouldn't be like Spencer. She wouldn't expect the same trick to work and she didn't even know if he drank. She stared at him and didn't breath as she saw him move to reply. As he spoke a grin broke out across her face and she leaped forward before she could contain herself.
"Welcome to the family." She said. She didn't doubt for a second that he was her brother.
